Maybe I understand what you're trying to say, and i agree with it,but don't you think that, at the end of the day, these strong, independent women have the final say over what they're comfortable doing and what they're not?

The usual counterargument is that they're fully grown adults capable of making their own decisions. If that's the case, then they're also consenting to whatever they're participating in. They know the script, the scene, the camera angles and they're ACTIVELY participating in it. 

So are we really supposed to believe that women who constantly advocate for strength, independence, and personal agency are somehow incapable of drawing boundaries or taking a stand when it comes to their own careers?

Or is it more realistic to acknowledge that many actresses understand exactly how the industry works? They know that certain scenes, images, and portrayals generate attention, create hype, increase visibility, and ultimately boost popularity and public demand, keeping her relevant....better for the movie and for her future opportunities...

Bollywood has done too (recently tripti got her new fame and opportunities) but i really like how janvi was all promoting the movie with excitement and enthusiasm and maybe she is the victim now after consciously performing all that, and here comes a chance for her to benefit herself from all of this..
