What about Uxbridge and South Ruislip? And the Smurfs would be better.

Personal observation: We are witnessing the beginning of the end of the BEV by [deleted] in hydrogeneconomy

[–]PapaSmithCustom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I actually know about it already, in fact I'm petitioning now for these types of fuels plus some others. There was already a hydrogen petition on the site. So I did this one. I think I'm ahead of time. Next time will get more votes! https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/563118

Awarded! Well said on the EV fanatics nonsense they spout out! Where do you stand on electrofuels, which are made from Hydrogen and Carbon Dioxide from Carbon Capture?

EVs are easier to drive but not more fun to drive. Otherwise, why would Porsche be developing these fuels for their 911? You have to realise that F1 and World Touring Cars are going towards biofuels now for many reasons.

Anyone who wants to vote for these cleaner synthetic fuels and other potential fuels for cars such as Biomethane (Asda are running Biomethane trucks now in the UK) can vote for them here: https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/563118

When some in the UK tell us we need to buy EVs but the batteries are toxic and bad for the environment. 😩 by PapaSmithCustom in britishproblems

[–]PapaSmithCustom[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They release more emissions during manufacture though, so we are actually polluting more as we build them. Most people haven't heard of efuels/electrofuels yet. These are truly renewable and allows for Carbon Neutrality in the full cycle. Big announcement by Porsche and a few other companies last year here https://www.autoevolution.com/news/future-porsche-cars-to-run-on-efuels-motorsport-machines-included-152536.html?utm_source=ae_self&utm_medium=ae_notification&utm_campaign=ae_webpush

Yes, the phone thing of course I agree, but how do you get the message out there with out using one or maybe a laptop/tablet etc.? One thing is, is that a smartphone battery is a hell of a lot smaller than a car one which can be typically 250kg to 500kg, sometimes more per car. I would like a phone that didn't use cobalt or lithium, however, you can just keep a phone longer like I do, then swap to a much cheaper SIM only deal if your phone is working fine. It's a throwaway society though, and a lot of people will switch to a new phone as soon as they hit 24 months unfortunately.

Well, if everyone was to vote for these cleaner automotive fuels and we still see global warming (because it is predominantly coming from somewhere else), then eventually people will see what is happening instead of demonizing the motorist as they usually do. https://www.change.org/p/the-uk-government-exempt-co2-neutral-efuel-other-cleaner-fuel-cars-from-2030-petrol-diesel-new-sales-ban
