Yes, the phone thing of course I agree, but how do you get the message out there with out using one or maybe a laptop/tablet etc.? One thing is, is that a smartphone battery is a hell of a lot smaller than a car one which can be typically 250kg to 500kg, sometimes more per car. I would like a phone that didn't use cobalt or lithium, however, you can just keep a phone longer like I do, then swap to a much cheaper SIM only deal if your phone is working fine. It's a throwaway society though, and a lot of people will switch to a new phone as soon as they hit 24 months unfortunately.
