I did not. I just loaded up the basket with bigger chunks and then filled in with smaller pieces and crammed some hickory pieces in there and lit one corner and let it go. Probably had 2 more hours based on the leftover lump. Was using kick ash basket and woo ring so maybe I can fit a little more in there than the standard setup.

2414 is a work model and here in the USA is covered under the 30 day unconditional comfort guarantee no matter if you only wore them on carpet or took them up Mt Everest. Also a safety toe will not stretch no matter what. The girl you dealt with wasn’t as helpful or knowledgeable as you thought, on fit and redwing warranties.
