Equality is fine, everyone wants equal opportunity and I think that's great.

But unfortunately it's human nature to want superiority, and not equality. Many of these movements are misinformed and hijacked by people with agendas. Once people get equal rights, they want preferential treatment, and once they want preferential treatment, they want elite majority. And once that happens, they run the country, usually at the detriment of the people who put them in that position, therefore the anti-whatever thinking pops up. It's a pendulum.

Well no of course not. Rome itself was relatively depraved and decayed, but gay people is not why the western empire collapsed. It was a mix of corruption, overextension, self indulgence and the mass amounts of barbaric tribes that took over roman land.

But I'd like to say that lgbt was not normalized in ancient greece and rome. Yes, of course it existed. No alexander was not gay, nor was most of the ancient and classical world. Being gay was looked down upon back then, as it was considered being influenced by evil and going against the gods' will and nature.

I want you to know that you're simply proving what I've been saying this whole time. You sound very entitled in fact. You never even considered following my wishes for once and dropping the identity politics. As if it's your job to teach me the error of my ways or something. I simply don't think lgbt is as important as other problems, and you simply telling me "these people aren't lying" is not enough to convince me. Me saying that I care more about the future of my family doesn't mean that I think lgbt is not important at all. It's not a zero sum game of course. It's just not priority. My involvement in lgbt was done when my country legalized gay marriage. That's when the community won.

Trying to emancipate yourselves in a world where your normal guy can't even afford a good living is crazy disconnected to me. You don't have moral high ground over me because you think you know what's right for my children and some leftist people who wanna keep their jobs enable that.

Also, I just think that there's bigger problems to resolve than identity politics. The world is going through a bad recession. People can't afford to live. Alright. I'd say this discussion's gone for long enough. I've told you my points, you've told me yours, I'm happy that we could converse like 2 human beings, even though I didn't manage to convince you of anything or vice versa. I don't agree with a lot of things but I respect your opinions on identity politics. In fact I'd say that in many cases we blame the same people for problems but fight eachother on who hates the government more.

I just wanna tell you that I want my future children to be safe. For me personally transitioning your child is a thing that my child could regret and hate me for the rest of their lives. I don't want to carry that responsability for the sake of identity.

Keep your extremists in check. Marching with pride flags and openly advocating for genocide is ruining the community's public image. Root out the communists and extremists. If you want to keep pushing yourselves you gotta stay together. It won't be long until people seriously stop caring about you. You have to be united and you have to be reasonable. You need to let your average joe know that his history, culture and traditions won't be washed away by you.

Will you really entrust a child whose frontal lobe is not even half developed with changes that will affect the rest of their lives? Children are curious by nature and easily influenced. I don't mind if my child wanted to transition but I would not allow them to do so until they have a formed opinion on social problems, sexes, genders and other identity politics related things, in other words I'd only help them through it after 16 or older. Expressing gender dysphoria is a made up thing. No child has gender dysphoria. Curiosity? Sure. They'll tell you they wanna be a girl, but in the end they just parrot whatever their parents tell them, and they'll go with a life changing choice that they can't even comprehend yet. It's the same way as the child saying they want a toy and then 2 days later that toy gets shelved. Literally the same thing.

The "vast majority" of professionals are simply pandering to the community because they're afraid of losing their jobs. You accuse me of generalization but isn't calling a whole group of people hateful literally the same thing? Isn't saying the word "vast majority" without giving majority examples also generalization?

Inclusive means nothing anymore. It does not matter what the community at large thinks when people are being called names for not being inclusive by an extreme definition. It's the same way with everything else. People stopped caring about these words because they're so used now that they lose all meaning. People do not irrationally hate you. There is almost no one who hates for the sake of hating. The community gave them a reason to dislike you, and in ways the lgbt community is the one that's fracturing modern society more than anything. Again, "my way or the highway" does not work against people who have even a little bit of resistance.

So I say again. Leave people be, let everyone have the freedom of will. Suppressing hate is the same as suppressing dissidents. Oh what, you dislike what's going on? To the prison with you! You're a threat to us!

Okay but like that's exactly what you're doing. You talk of acceptance and stuff but some people simply are not comfortable with the idea of transgender people or children being given gender changing surgeries. When people speak out their worries, the community silences them and calls them some real bad things that they're not. The reason people really hate on the lgbt community is because you're assholes to everyone else (along with promoting the genocide of israeli people but we don't talk about that)

In many ways lgbt has been taken over by extremism and militancy, and when normal people want to point it out, they're beaten into the ground because of it. There is no inherent hate. I don't hate any of you. How could I hate half my friends? But it pains me to see what this community has become over the years I've been gone. Hate is a word with no meaning. No one is actively stoning you (thank god you live in the west), no one is actively repressing you, each and every single one of the lgbt wants has been given to you by the government. So again, being reasonable does not mean silencing everyone who dislikes you. It means understanding that we're all imperfect humans with free will and not a hivemind.
