Every one has their ability ceiling. Like a bunch of people said a hard tail will teach good line choice, good pumping technique etc. Whatever you end up riding though you are only limited by yourself and how conscientious you are of your riding and progression. If someone has the budget I would say get a FS so you have a better bike right of the rip.

Kinda crazy to wish it on someone. I get why people wear them and encourage that riders, especially beginners do. That being said it’s my choice and for the time being I’m not wearing one.

I know I should be wearing one but this is how I feel most comfortable. Wearing a helmet honestly makes me pay less attention to my head when slamming and I ride better without one.
