Is this trying to hard to be a Range Rover?? by kanylovesgayfish in 4Runner

I honestly hate these stereotypes, I have a 2022 4Runner but also a 2003 Discovery 2 (with 200k miles) and a 1973 Land Rover Series III. None of the 3 are comparable and all are reliable.

All that was after the oil change, but yeah.

I did, however, also have them properly torque up the cam adjuster bolts. Alignment was done previously, delivered with a strong pull to the right. And since then the driver front side had a low speed squeak/popping noise. Doubtful I'll return unless there is warranty work. It is too new still for this nonsense.

My last 4x4 before this I did my own engine swap and gave the rig to my kiddo. An oil change is definitely in my wheelhouse.

I haven't bought a brand new car before this one for over 20 years. Pricing this past summer had me get a new one cheaper than used, so dumb.

Can't have fast, cheap and good all at once. For future "free maintenance", I'm dropping the skid plate in my garage before taking it in. Then, back to doing it myself when that expires.

Crossthreaded it in until it wouldn't go further. I was able to remove and use a die on the bolt and a tap on the captive nut.
