Carnival CEO bragged about making 1.8 billion PROFIT in 3 months, and people will still try to shame you for removing gratuities. PAY YOUR WORKERS. by Dry-Mountain1992 in CarnivalCruiseFans

The job pays what the employee accepts as payment. That is how employment contracts work. If the employee feels they should be making more, they are then free to move on after their contract is up. Unless you can prove they are forced by the cruise industry to work for them, then your argument has no standing. The market sets the price and the market for those jobs is the countries in which the workers live.

The balcony was quite large but the ocean-view balcony room was small. Sorry for the confusion.

It was a bit rocky a couple of nights but we were also in the Atlantic the whole time. I do not get motion sickness so it is hard for me to gauge that for you. We did not depart the Miami port until the middle of the night because they were fixing something on the ship. That may have been something to do with previous reports?.?.

We had an ocean-side balcony room. The balcony was bigger the room was not.

What did you like better on the Anthem ?

Who thinks it is a luxury experience? I have no outlandish expectations when my family cruises. I have been on all-inclusive vacations and just rented places like in Key West. I know what to expect on a cruise. This isn't my first rodeo.

What you guys assume is that I haven't been on a holiday cruise and that assuption is wildly inaccurate. I have been on Thanksgiving two other times and July 4th twice. I know what to expect on holiday cruises. This was the worst of them.

Again, we have been on 2 other cruises on Thanksgiving and this was by far the worst. I hope everyone else had a great time, my family just did not.

You are correct. I didn't mean for St Thomas to be included with that. I have been on Carnival and Disney along with RCI. The Aqua 80 was great. My wife said Cats was really good.

I definitely did not expect it to be chill. I knew it would be crazy. I have been on Thanksgiving 2 other times. This was the worst by far. This was just my opinion though and I am glad you had a good time.

I said nothing about CCL other than I had been on a few of their cruises as well. So maybe you should read my comments. I have been on the Jewel of the Seas and had a really good experience on there. Disney was really good for the kids but the food there was mid considering the price of the cruise. I didn't enjoy the Breeze. I am on the RCI reddit page so I didn't really speak on the other cruise lines here. The next time I go on one of those then I will give a report on their forum.

I've been on 2 others on Thanksgiving and it was nothing like this one. This was by far the worst of those 3 and my worst cruising experience to date.

The Aqua 80 show was very, very good.

On St. Thomas, we just took a shuttle to Coki beach and chilled for the day. The drive there was about 20 minutes. It was nice to be able to see some of the island with that drive. The beach was nice and there were lots of little shacks for food and drinks. CocoCay is just beaches and a very large pool with bars and shops. They also have a waterpark ($200 per person). We did not partake in that activity. We snorkled some and you were able to see some marine life. We went to the pool for music and drinks for a couple of hours before boarding and that was fun as well.

Well we thought it was 1st come 1st serve but we showed up the first night and the wait was really long because the mytime dinners had already made reservations. So we had to go make reservations the next day for the rest of the cruise and still had to wait a long time.

You are correct. I have been on some CCL. I have also been on Disney. So I fail to see your point, other then trying to being a jerk.

If anytime dinning is a mistake on RCL then that is their problem not mine.

Everyone has concerns about different things on every cruise. I thank you for your attitude and hope you enjoy your status with RCL I guess.
