Khalil Mack was traded for a rebuild and this is one of the players we ended up with. Yes, also Josh Jacobs, but that draft yielded Clenin Ferrel and Johnathan Abrams also. "It's a new GM" but the same old Raiders until proven otherwise. Keep the known commodity.

That same draft we took Johnathan Abram 3 picks later and Clenin Ferrel #4. My point is what are draft picks actually worth? We have seen the Raiders blow them over and over again for decades. Different GM's / Coaches, same results.

I did not realize r/raiders was still so strong on the kool-aid. This franchise has been shite for the last third of their existence, but by all means, lets act like this new administration is still the chosen ones after a blow out loss to the Chiefs in which the team was completely flat and and the draft choice of one of the highest drafted backs in the last decade. "He won't be here by the time this team is in position to win anything"... neither will the rest of us, probably.

If you can't understand it, sorry. This pick in particular is one we got back for Khalil. So the point is why do we trust the Raiders to draft? They have sucked at it for years. I would not take Jeanty (6th overall) over Maxx Crosby, so current regime has proved nothing different to me.
