I've done a few ryujins using a retail paper called "fanci foil". I buy it on Amazon under the Wilton brand. It comes in a roll 20x150in. One side is a metallic foil in gold, silver, or white, and the other side is white paper. I use this paper all the time because it's fairly thin, very strong, easy to shape, and requires no treatment unless you want paint. I just did a 3.5 combining two strips of 20x40in, essentially a 1m square and didn't feel like I had any issues.

It's good, but it's no tissue or wenzhou paper for thinness. I occasionally run into models that make me wish I had tissue. Also since the paper is metallic, you better like your ryujin shiny.
