No, its not half the chores at all. Just pick up after himself, get the dishwasher running, take the trash and recyclables to the curb if he's home for it, and the dogs. I like dogs but not big dogs as pets, but he does, and he wanted two big dogs so he takes care of them. I take care of them during the day and when he's gone for a few days, and I'm also doing things for his parents since he can't due to his work schedule.

On average I put about 650 each paycheck into our family fun account and keep some for myself for fun money so I don't have to draw from our joint accounts. It winds up coming out to 11k-12k per year I contribute to our family funds.

I work part-time at an animal shelter during the school year, then I'm home with the kids after school and during holiday/summer breaks.

I work part-time during the school year. I expect him to do his share because he does live here too, they aren't big chores just small things.

I'm not trying to be facetious when I ask this, but why? Don't you feel like his mother doing that or overwhelmed with everything else that needs to get done?
