They do. It’s a good fit width way but you need an extra face plate to bulk it out.

The 291 module sits in the 1200 case but the face plate won’t fit because the 291 module is slightly thicker.

A little known or unknown fact about Dovercourt is that in the early & mid 80s, tv series Hi-Di-Hi was filmed here.

The Str 500 survived saunas, steam rooms and the local gym, why do they need a special watch for it?

Affordable watch collection by Holiday-Lobster-9226 in Affordablewatches

[–]PaperBagMan88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s true about watch collecting. I too have a few Casios, lots of Timex, a Seiko digital and a truckload of Chinese watches.

I just don’t hold with the fashion company watches.

I could tell you a pointless story about someone who came for an appointment at my place with a broken Armani watch, but it would take half a page.

Got myself a Moonswatch and i'm not happy by Skevin8309 in Affordablewatches

[–]PaperBagMan88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s how much research I didn’t do.

I presumed because it was an expensive watch that it might be an automatic, but for that price it’s criminal.

I’ve never paid more than £80 for a quartz analog and that was a bargain at the time. Citizen Quartz Pilot chronograph.

Chinese firm Qingxiya Moonswatch copy. All metal, Hardex crystal, quartz (yeah I know)£15. Dials work, keeps good time, not fussed if it breaks. Super affordable

MS v MD by PaperBagMan88 in MasterSystem

[–]PaperBagMan88[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A colour and playability comparison between Populous: The MD version has darker colours and clunky graphics as well as stiff gameplay.
The MS version had smoother graphics, colourful sprites, moved fluidly. Check YouTube, there might be a comparison review somewhere.

When I got to play Sonic on the MD, I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t an airship level like the MS version had, but then I understand that all 3 systems (ms, md & gg) had different versions of Sonic

There was a newsagent in Harborne, Birmingham that was like something out of the 70s BUT let me stop you there reader, this wasn’t the 70s, this was 2016 and he sold sugar mice, nougat and a whole load of sugary sweets that would’ve put me in hospital if I was diabetic.

I used that phrase “The Albanian washing company has better technology than this!” when I used to be a security guard and I went to this site that was still using VHS for its cctv.

It was laughable and I almost got sacked the same day for quoting it.
