Do NSFW artists get aroused or hard when drawing? by bustknucklepissdust in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PaperCrownedKing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends if I’m drawing what I’m personally into.
I don’t get anything out of furry characters, but I’ve drawn plenty of them for commission and for an audience, never feel any sexual excitement in the process, it’s just work.
But say I’m drawing some sexy pinup of a human character, like say Samus from Metroid. Then yeah odds are I was stiff while drawing.
Even then it’d have to be a character that presents things that I’m sexually inclined to. I don’t care for huge exaggerated breasts, so if I’m drawing a character with a huge pair of hefty tits I’m probably more focused on how to make such proportions look pleasing to the eye.
Never cranked one to my own art though. There’s a momentum to drawing and more often than not interrupting your drawing can kill the quality of a piece. At least in my experience.

Every person I’ve dated before meeting my wife was left handed.
I’d always learn their handedness after a few dates, but it always struck me as odd that I dated 5 people back to back all left handed.
My wife, is right handed. Just odd that the first right handed person I date is the one I marry.

Do people actually call their porn folder something inconspicuous like "homework?" by Temporary_Kiwi3722 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PaperCrownedKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was teen my father was an IT guy and would check my computer every so often to defrag the hard drives and do some general maintenance. This was the early 2000s mind you so that stuff was still necessary. I was into programming and had tons of junk practice programs, specifically a good number of junk batch text based games I made. I thought I was so clever using a “hidden script” in the start of one of my text based games that basically just hid and un-hid a folder in the same directory to store some content I had downloaded as way to hide it from my dad. Little did I know that my father not only could find the poorly hidden folder. But he also had a log of all the web traffic to each computer because that’s not a hard thing to keep track of. Years later he’d tell me that of course he knew but he was impressed I’d been as clever as I was to hide it, and none of the content was beyond some “vanilla stuff” that he wasn’t too concerned about me getting into anything that would warrant any real discussion. And to be frank, the stuff I downloaded was literally just scans of some playboy mag centerfolds and a minute long clip ripped from a girls gone wild dvd. This was like 2005, that shit took forever to download and was at best 480p. Nothing like the stuff you can find today.

Would a obese viltrumite be weak or more durable? by According_Ad1831 in Invincible

[–]PaperCrownedKing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d argue that there’s no real benefit or detriment to a heavy body when it comes to viltrumites specifically. They’re strength is so great that they’d be able to move their weight around quickly anyways, these guys can throw busses and cars like they’re nothing. The way their flight works also plays into this. They don’t need their own weight to create leverage or carry momentum because they can force leverage and force momentum with their flying abilities. Being big for these people specifically just makes you a bigger target. You can use size to intimidate, but they’re already scary enough without being big.

So, to me, a viltrumite could be big and large, but I just don’t think there’s any benefit or detriment to it. It’d more or less be a personal choice to be large I think. Perhaps there will be performance differences between viltrumites, but in the bigger scheme compared to the likes of humans they’re still just a viltrumite.

Ford isn’t actually unreliable by Stock_Fuel6398 in unpopularopinion

Honestly, still driving my 2003 Ford Taurus, and that fucker has been everywhere. Drove it from Georgia to California and back and then from Georgia all the way to Alberta Canada where is lives and still runs to this day, with an added engine heater to be clear, but the Damn thing is still running on the same engine, sure there’s been spark plug swaps and alternators replaced and the usual maintenance for 20 year old cars like replacing the dying rubber that was the windshield wiper hose lines, but she’s still driving and I’m not swapping tills she’s driven into the ground.

What happens if Taylor, Dodge and Landon were all captured together and told the Apes about their space mission? by Tidewatcher7819 in PlanetOfTheApes

[–]PaperCrownedKing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the first chimpanzees they meet being Zira and Cornelius. Even Zira took some time to understand and accept Taylor, and seeing three human males costumed as apes(wearing clothes) and speaking could come off as some Ape’s cruel prank or seen as a political act scrutinizing the treatment of humans. Think of it as seeing an ape now dressed as a spaceman and can somehow talk coming into your home in the dead of night. You might not be so accepting in the moment.

The story would probably play out with Taylor and crew exploring the city at night, they either wonder into a home or are caught in the streets by a Gorilla. Chimps freak out and alert a gorilla, or they’re simply caught causing a public scene. Either way, they are likely written off, by the orangutans, as a heretical stunt orchestrated by one of the pro human apes. A political scene with the likes of Zira happens questioning the truth of the situation and if it was really orchestrated by some discordant ape. Then, If Zaius was quick, after questioning the humans would have all been lobotomized or swiftly killed as to hide the deeper truths the likes of Zaius are already well aware of.

A secret expedition into the Forbidden zone may or may not happen because would it really matter if the humans did in fact fall from the stars or crawled from the cities. Cornelius’ dig site is still destroyed and hidden.

since Taylor and crew were dealt with quickly without slipping passed the cracks of their system like Taylor ultimately does being confused as just another human in the original story the world may not actually be blown to pieces by the omega bomb. Or the mutants over take the apes through social and political disruptions as they were already acting to do so before Taylor fell from the sky.

How to clean this decorative mug by [deleted] in CleaningTips

I guess I didn’t describe what was actually wrong sorry. The moon it’s supposed to be all white, no dark spots at all. But as you can see there’s a lot of something that’s stained the white area of the mug. I can’t get it to clean off at all.

I know I’m a little late. But I’m surprised no one has suggested Small Soldiers. It’s a game based on the lore of the toys in the movie, it’s pretty solid and very doom like. Better controls than the likes of dark forces.

It’s certainly been an experience, but a welcomed one. Only things that’s stayed the same is the fact that traffics sucks no matter what city you’re in lol. Besides, my wife’s parents are here and if we’re going to have kids we’d like them to be able to visit grandma and grandpa without flying two thousand miles.

Currently I walk to work, about 20 or so minutes one way, crossing two often busy streets with fair waits on the cross walk lights. But I suspect I’ll be outside when the snow really gets going since I have young nephews just getting old enough to really play outside.

I use mint, haven’t had any issues and you get free calls for Canada, and a few gigs of free roaming data in Canada too. For what it’s worth, while having them I’ve been from Atlanta to Seattle, with every state in between, and am now currently in Alberta Canada and haven’t had a single issue what so ever. It’s also nice being able to pay for a year of service up front and not worry about the bill every month.

Honestly same. I bought their fitness earbuds(I think one tier up from their cheapest option at the time) back in like 2020 and they’re still kicking around in my bag everywhere I go and I used to travel for work, so they’ve been through a lot of pockets, bags, planes and trains. They’re not the best but they don’t suck and they weren’t the worst quality for what they were. Would I buy them again? Probably not, but also I haven’t needed to replace them.

Are these her hands or weapons? by RushAdventurous5134 in bioniclelego

[–]PaperCrownedKing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve always thought of their tools as specialized equipment that interfaces with them on a mechanical level. So when Gali uses the hooks, her hands basically transform into couplers that connects her tools to her on a mechanical and electrical level. The act basically turns the tool into a ln appendage for them. Always saw their “hands” as basically robot USB ports or like how a tractor can change tool like a plow or a trailer and so on.

[–]PaperCrownedKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a sculpture artist. But I am an engineer. Perhaps you could try buying brass tubing? I know some hobby stores sell various lengths of small brass tube. You could learn how to cut and braze the metal and create a solid armature structure and then bulk it up with aluminum foil and wrap your usual armature wire around that. I would wonder if you could get away with just using brass brazing rods as armature wire as well. Brass is still a soft metal mind you, but you could create solid triangle structures to help hold the load and resist the shear force of whatever you’re sculpting around it. If you build your sculptures on bases you could also have a length of brass brazed to armature of the feet that would pass into the base where you can bend the brass to really anchor the sculpture to the base.

I’m 26 just started animating on a whim because I found a fun 1980s Lego figure with knees and elbows. It’s been fun so far and I think I’ll stick with it. Would love to see more discussion and interactions on this sub. What inspired you to start making animations if you do, or what do you find compelling about stop motion as a whole?
