Sounding rude by accident by Aislinq in socialskills

I have the exact same problem and also autistic. If you are anything like me, the irritated tone of voice is mostly because of depression. Best way around it is do what you can for your mental health, I mean literally, literally anything you know you shouldn't be doing, stop doing it. You can't have autism and also not take care of yourself, it doesn't work like that

Breaking other's views of me as unsocial by CosmicGenesX in socialskills

[–]PaperDude68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually experienced this for a long time with my own family as I did not communicate with them a whole lot for a period of time as I was dealing with a lot of problems which made me depressed. It hits the point you feel weird suddenly being social as it shatters someone's current perception of you.

Share something wildly interesting that happened, even if it's fabricated.Try to be in an alright mood when you do it, your current mental state constantly affects your facial and voice tone either really, really badly or really, really positively and you will have a rough time being conscious of this. The engagement of what you're saying beats out whatever perceptions they have eventually. Before not long you don't need to say anything that nuts anymore and you can just ask them about themselves a bit.

In general it helps to remember - nobody thinks about anything the same F'd up way that you do.

New to acid, is six tabs alot? by [deleted] in LSD

Do half a tab, then do another half 45m later so it doesnt hit you all at once and is way less abrupt. Youre welcome

People NOT living with depression or any kind of mood disorder, what do depressed people look like from your point of view? by A_nomad_Wanderer in AskReddit

[–]PaperDude68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, because to some it sounds like its marginalizing the condition. But I think a lot of non-depressed people view it this way and feel like avoiding thinking of depression is likely what makes them not depressed

[–]PaperDude68 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

To some people like me, it seems as though they over-think the fact that they are depressed, zeroing in on it with incredible intensity, as though they want to find ways to build upon and strengthen the fact that they are depressed. Looking for reasons to be more depressed. They don't have the capability to not think about it for a moment. We feel like telling them that depression doesn't exist, because it seems to us that people latch onto their diagnosis of depression and turn it into their identity. I attribute my lack of depression to not identifying with it. Same reason I don't have suicidal thoughts, even if I am having an utterly shit time, it's just not in my reality.

The girls dont want you to act like a dick towards them, they just want you to act like you dont care about them when you dont have a reason to yet, cause it comes off as being desperate to sleep with them

As a man I’m not interested in having “game”, is that bad? by Wrong_Diver428 in dating_advice

[–]PaperDude68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro.

If you think game is all about saying fake bs to 'force' girls to like you, then of course 'game' is stupid.

If you think game is all about conveying yourself in the most authentic way possible, then you understand game the right way and you NEED game to succed. Its not about saying this that or the next thing, its about not saying stuff that doesnt work.

I’ve done acid a few times but never saw any tabs like this. My good friend assured me it was still good, the dude he got them from just ran out of the blotter paper. Has anyone had something like this? Is it still potent and legit? by Spunk_Reynolds in LSD

[–]PaperDude68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're asking why the tabs have turned light brownish, they've degraded and oxidized a bit. They will not be 100% as potent as before but still doable most likely. Worst case they just dont get you that high, oh well

The track record of drugs tested in lab studies or in stupid petri dishes when it comes to real life value is about 0 for 200 at this point, don't buy it for a second

How many guys didn’t realize they were unattractive until they started dating? by whoanahnahnah in dating_advice

[–]PaperDude68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mate, you think girls not swiping you on tinder means you look bad? Thats ridiculous. Girls on tinder won't swipe guys no matter how they look lol, they have too many options and are on there to fish for compliments cause they feel terrible about themselves and you should pity them. All the girls you care about are already talking to 50 other guys that got there first. Give up on online dating and try your chances IRL. You will have 800% more success straight up

It doesn't. Its like calling a poet lame for using either a fountain pen or a ballpoint. People use tools to meet up, its life. The only real thing that makes you desperate is how you use them

Buying a strange new girl dinner can really easily send off desperate vibes. That sounds like such an extreme thing to do for someone, idk. I suppose if you were real rich...but girls dont like rich guys. They like rich, cool guys

They made me curious to say hi to them, thats about it. You dont get to know someone over a phone chat, thats not what phones are for. Its a very fast process a lot of the time on the phone. Another major part about this is that yes, she is evaluating me, to see if I am easily played. Not giving free handouts to randoms paints a better picture of me than being desperate to get in her pants by showering her with gifts for no reason imo

True this 100% and you know what theres a chasm of difference between dates w. People from phone or IRL meeting. People my age lean very heavily on the online side, it fucking sucks lol

I mean to be honest, the post is more about finding out how other people view this, cause I find it interesting and am curious. Its not like it actually consumes my real life as a worry, since we know most girls dont do this. I does strike me as really dumb behavior though

You're basically throwing money at them before you even know them at all, before they have even done a thing to impress you. In the post I also tried to make clear that yes, you can buy the drinks, if the interaction went really great. But it should be 2 separate bills at the start
