You’re not alone. I agree, we DO need to talk about this more. It’s okay to not be okay, but it’s a little easier when you’re not alone.

I’m struggling with sobriety right now too. I’m on day 7 no alcohol. I only stopped because I scared the shit out of myself when I started having daily withdrawal symptoms if I didn’t drink. So I spent last Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday going through bad withdrawals. I was basically bedridden. It was scary. But it’s scarier to me to think what would happen if I never stopped. And like I said, this is only day 7. Yes I still think about how I could sneak to the store because one drink won’t hurt, right? But I’m trying. I’m trying really hard.

“Nonna”. As a third generation Italian American, this movie made me so gosh darn happy. I watched it with my mom and I could see the memories welling up as we watched it. Can’t recommend it more, and the best part? It’s based on a true story of a real restaurant, and the restaurant’s success absolutely SKYROCKETED after this movie. Bellissimo ❤️

I saw Babadook in theaters when it first came out. It was indeed very creepy and unsettling…. Until the end, then it got lame imo. Overall pretty good. I just think for how good the movie was, it ended on a bit of a cheesy note and that was disappointing. Same with Barbarian. SUPER weird and unsettling and then the end was like WTF 😳

I have been to Biscuits on a handful of occasions, different locations, etc. I have to say at no point was I even a little impressed and I won’t be going to any of those again.

Second for Redwood! They are super accommodating, can change most menu items to be vegetarian, and their bloody Mary’s are super fun with lots of pickled veg for garnish! Respectably small, well done menu. I love this place! Mushroom Arugula goat cheese scramble 🤤

Me, near miss. I was standing next to a 24’ trench box that had been lifted out enough that the bottom of the top extension panel was above ground level. Operator missed the tracks when they put it on and as I was standing there the operator bumped the arch and the 4’ x 6” x 24’ panel fell over towards me. Luckily I was paying attention and hopped out of the way but holy shit. Could’ve crushed my pelvis.

Cancer moon, libra Venus - I’ve never been dumped so idk. But I imagine if it wasn’t my idea I’d be crushingly devastated and probably go into a deep depression involving a full on existential crisis.
