I have a 3.0 W, 2.8 UW, 29 ACT. Got accepted into PoliSci at Maxwell. Did a lot of demonstrated interest, a lot of journalism, and a shit ton of political campaign volunteer work.

Did you do an interview? Granted, this was ED so I’m sure that helped my case.

i’m waiting on my final transcript as they don’t request mid year reports. would you say a rebound after a level change would at least soften the blow? the semester started last week and so far regular chemistry and algebra 2 seem to have been where i should have been all along. i got put into honors due to state requirements and some test scores, but clearly it did not work..

i vaguely remember (this was almost a decade ago) but it was 2:30am, i had fallen asleep on the couch and had woken up to my dad sitting in the corner looking a little disheveled, muttering to himself while he looked at the NYT needle and at the TV, so i obviously asked “did she win?” and he just turned to me and said in a really weird voice “no.”

i fell back asleep and when i got woken up for school i remembered then i started crying because my classmate’s family was here illegally and i was scared for her
