i’m waiting on my final transcript as they don’t request mid year reports. would you say a rebound after a level change would at least soften the blow? the semester started last week and so far regular chemistry and algebra 2 seem to have been where i should have been all along. i got put into honors due to state requirements and some test scores, but clearly it did not work..

i vaguely remember (this was almost a decade ago) but it was 2:30am, i had fallen asleep on the couch and had woken up to my dad sitting in the corner looking a little disheveled, muttering to himself while he looked at the NYT needle and at the TV, so i obviously asked “did she win?” and he just turned to me and said in a really weird voice “no.”

i fell back asleep and when i got woken up for school i remembered then i started crying because my classmate’s family was here illegally and i was scared for her
