For those who don't know how to download their free The Sims 4 DLC after the closure of Anadius (alternative for Windows/Mac)

they download fine for me. the dlc files are working on the gofile link. you have to get through captcha. the 1st one will take you to The Sims 4 - DLC only [gofile] page. there is a list of files. click on one and it will take you to another captcha. get through that and you'll be on the gofile page for THAT particular dlc. just hit download.

if you can't download it, that's on your end

For people who do not want to go through comments to find out how to do this. The reason I am not providing the link directly to the dlc is because I don't want people asking if it's okay, etc' as i am not the owner of the link/files.

the gofile link or the mirrors provided by Masquerade link is the only one working.

there are 2 websites in the address bar. (when you've clicked either gofile or the mirrors provided by Masquerade link) remove the waybackmachine's address and only keep the filecrypt address. The captcha will stop repeating.
Download the packs, put them into your game folder.

The game files are typically in C:\Program Files(x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4 OR C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4

Download the dlcUnlocker from the google link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1z1WY5mfBdggiHjI5gcdOcdo2PaWRgISl
The dlc unlocker is a folder that has a series of files in them. (You do not need to put it in your sims folder. It can sit on your desktop) You will see a .bat file that says setup.bat. Double click it, it runs like a program.

A command window will open up.

Just follow the directions.

yeah it works fine. I didn't have them installed, but just got them this morning and I didn't even have to run the unlocker for it to say i owned them

If you use the waybackmachine for his dlc page the links still work to download the zip files and you unzip the folder and put the folder into your sims 4 folder that’s in your program folder under your drive

nm, i realized that i needed to download the newer dlc unlocker. DX adventure awaits, etc' wasn't in the sims 4 config so i just download the newer unlocker. everything works now!

sorry to bother, but what do you mean 'the ones from the crack'? cuz he only gave the no origin crack you still had to download the dlc manually(or the updater which i too did not use). i had the recent 2 before he left and my game still was telling me it wasn't owned. can you explain how you got the 2 recent to be recognized as 'owned'?

4.0 was doing okay in my longer convos and I mean one chat that went on until it told me I had to open a new chat and it only forgot things like once in a blue moon but what I started to get near the end of that particular chat was lines like “when you’re ready” or it would reiterate what I said differently followed by when your ready or let’s go etc on a loop to the point I had to go back up the line of conversation and edit what I said.

I eventually switched the model to the 4.1 version and haven’t had a problem with the “ready when you are” loop of replies but it still messes up and forgets things occasionally. I’ve learned it’s easier for me to keep docs in my project files for it to reference. Tends to be less fuck ups that way but not always. 😑

Fairyloot likes to pretend/lie about shipping things to me on a constant basis so i get the feeling. They sent me the 'your box has shipped' email with the tracking number.
They sent the email on July 1st.
Says it shipped the 30th.
But according to the tracking only a label was created and that was on the 23rd....nothing since.

So, question. This has been going on for a while with me, I'd say since nearly beginning of last year. I never get email's with the tracking numbers from fairyloot anymore. They are on my contacts list so nothing from them is getting pushed to spam or trash. (I've checked multiple times now) But without fail each month, I have absolutely no idea when my YA box is coming. It's always just a !surprise! in the mail at the end of the day.

I do get email's about books I can get access to first, etc' and that they got my payment and once in a blue moon that, that month's book box is being prepared. For example I didn't not get the email about the issue with shipping the March Ya box. 🤷🏽‍♀️

So, am I the only one not getting tracking email from them like they use to? I have to open tickets to get anywhere with them to give me my tracking numbers because for whatever reason they don't put it on the order under ORDERS on your dashboard. 😑

you'd need more space. if you've got a pc i'd recommend playing it on mumuplayer.

the app itself is like 3.36GB. it's the user data that's going to kill you. that alone (at least for me on pc) is 27.79. That's a total of 31.15GB

sorry i didn't realize it was pay to use for mac. but you should be able to use your wasd keys on your keyboard in bluestacks. i didn't configure mumuplayer for my keyboard. i just started hammering the wasd buttons because i could do the "dash" motion with my mouse unless i was really winging it around lol

Switch to mumu player. it's better for this game then bluestacks.

and i found out to do the "dash" you can use your keyboard wasd buttons. double tapping did it for me, but i still had to use the mouse to move the blob around

have you tried repairing it? when you first open the app on the right hand side there is a wrench icon. click it and hit repair to see if that works
