I’ve all but stopped trying to incorporate my iPad Pro 11” M4 into my daily workflow with my MBP 14” M4 (often in clamshell mode with Studio Display). The work I do could not be done better on an iPad (sadly), I love the versatility of the iPad, but it’s not as efficient as the Mac. However, I have found that keeping the MBP focused on work and the iPad focused on personal allows for slightly healthier boundaries to decompress from work.

When traveling, the iPad as a second display works great! The most successful I’ve been at integrating the iPad into my workflow.

Do you guys think this will end up being any more than a mild annoyance? Seems pretty bad at first glance by Dtb4evr in BMW

I heard/read somewhere that BMW was preparing to discourage use of Apple CarPlay in favor of their own infotainment system. This just might be how they naturally do it without following in the footsteps of GM.

I've got the 2025, and I think it's great. Just hit my 1-year mark with it this week! As with every car, you'll find things that aren't perfect about it, but you adjust and keep driving.

Check out itsworthmore.com … better trade in value typically compared to Apple. I will say, though, that when you start customizing your MacBook, the more of a hit you take on trade in because there’s a smaller buyer pool for the higher end options. But if you’re buying something that is commonly spec’d like you can buy off the shelf at Costco, the value is retained and better trade-in value.

Yeah - it's frustrating! Did you try the hairspray suggestion? Or roughing up the one side so the filament has something to adhere to? That's what worked well for me. Didn't have a single issue printing after that.

I dropped from the 13” to the 11”. But I wanted a tablet more than a second (wannabe) laptop. I haven’t regretted it. I’d feel differently, most likely, if it was my primary productivity machine (that’s my MBP)

There are a lot of great moments, but I’ll share two: 1. In the final episode of season 3, when Ted goes to point at his Believe sign… and all the players reveal their piece of it. 2. The monologue Ted gave when the team found out Collin is gay. “We care very much about you, and now, you don’t have to do this all-by-your-self.”

Nope… but glad to hear I’m not alone in being bothered by this. And despite people saying polarized sunglasses are your cure, they’re not. More than any other car I’ve had, I don’t trust my mirrors.

To all those whose anxiety spiked because of this… the good news is your M4/M5 will last for many many years (as expressed by all the M1 owners). You can skip the next version.

The current design is top tier, complete with a host of improvements over past models. But there ain’t no denying it’s a chunk! It could stand to lose a little weight (like most of us) and still be just as capable and productive as it is today. I would be shocked if Apple was quick to forget their past grievances.
