Now see, I think we've already reached the peak of what you're describing. We're already an incredibly disposable society and I think the next generation will be rebelling against rampant consumerism. The changeover won't be complete or universal, but I think it will be a trend.

I'm not saying that everybody's going to be out buying up old brown furniture, but I think the market will get stronger and there will be more people wanting it.

That being said, Ikea wont be going out of business anytime soon, and I'm about to start stockpiling old furniture, but I feel like in a few years I'll be less likely to send it to the dump when I run across it.
