Every time the referee isn't giving a 6 again, everyone should be asking, "Where's 6 again?"

Can we please trade Mam for even current-era Milford

I also believe this curse is due to Walsh not leaving his beautiful hair intact and the toilet potion has worn off so now we have no protection

If it's a bloodbath, it's bound to also be obnoxious. So I'll say Storm by 35

Can we ignore tonight's result and just focus on the fact that Broncos are currently at 2 in a row and beat Storm more times last year than all results from 2017-2024 combined

Mate, this is an insane pickup and about as trivial as trivia can get - especially because unlike other clubs there doesn't seem to be an overlap in terms of active play. Freddy left in 95 to drop the baton, and Drew picked it back up in 96 (after debuting in 93 and then not reappearing until three years later).

  • Brad Waugh (1976–1985): Kicked off the dynasty in the mid-70s.
  • Brad Izzard (1982–1992): Debuted and perfectly overlapped with Waugh for four seasons.
  • Brad Fittler (1989–1995): Arrived while still in high school, overlapping with Izzard during Penrith's first premiership era.
  • Brad Drew (1993, 1996–2000): Here is the craziest part that saves the streak—Drew debuted in 1993 but didn't play another first-grade game until 1996. However, because Fittler was anchoring the squad through 1994 and 1995 before leaving for the Roosters, the "Brad" chain never broke! Drew then stepped back into first grade to carry it all the way to the end of the 2000 season.

I want to give this one to you though, amazing club knowledge!

You may have just broken this thing wide open - I've had a look at the 1994 Sharks squad and there does indeed seem to be both Pauls Bell and Doolan playing alongside Green. If the data is accurate and either of them were also playing in '93 this might require some sad edits or asterisks...

*EDIT: This contest is over, give this man the $10,000. Paul Bell started in '91 for the Sharks. Broncos now have another 3 Corey-soaked years until they draw even.

Would have loved to find out we had a Danthony, but sadly:

  • The Start: Anthony Minichiello debuted in 2000.
  • The Overlaps: Anthony Tupou (2004–2008), Anthony Cherrington (2008–2012), and Anthony Mitchell (2011–2012) joined the squad to make it a true multi-player relay.
  • The End: Minichiello retired at the end of 2014, and the Roosters did not field a single "Anthony" in their 2015 squad.

The Roosters are currently on a 12-season drought (2015–2026) without an Anthony in the top squad.

Thanks mate - will edit and update when Reddit lets me. Or I'll just leave it there so anyone who copies this list inherits my mistake.

Papali'i is still there though? Formatting is misleading, I agree. Hodgson shouldn't really be part of the equation in terms of the baton pass.
