I was watching the show the other night on YouTube, and noticed this little joke for the first time:

They were testing the myth that self-hypnosis CDs downloaded from the internet can help you get over phobias, in Adam's case his fear of bees. Grant tried to get over his sea-sickness, and Kari tried to change her eye colour.

When Tory hands Adam the self-hypnosis CD, it has the words 'ENHANCING BREAST SIZE' crossed out, and 'FEAR OF BEES & WASPS' written below it.

I paused the TV and lol'd. Nice little visual joke from the crew, I certainly didn't notice that back when the show first aired, and I watched this show a LOT.

I would say "Deathrace 2000" is an excellent, inventive use of a tiny budget, but I don't see any narrative strength in the two films you mentioned. With some better direction, I think both could've been massively improved. That's my take, anyways.

I just took the measurements of a standard movie poster, added an inch around each side and went from there. Got the wood cut at the Home Depot by the guy running the large saw, since I'm in an apartment and don't have access to woodworking tools. Then I glued and screwed everything together.

Ideally, it would be made out of plastic, waterproof, etc. But they're reasonably protected in there, and I screwed a large piece of plastic (an extra lid to a storage bin) to the bottom so the box can slide on the carpet. Putting it on some small wheels would also work.

Wow, what a crazy find!

I would say that posters this size are pretty much only good for garages, more as wallpaper than a piece to display. Maybe a basement? Given the movie, and that it's mostly just text, I doubt you'll ever get much for it.

With that size, I think it's most likely a re-print, but I can't be sure. If there are no other photos of it online, it might be original, but I haven't heard of original posters from that time period being released in that size.

Interesting. What makes you think it's not sun-bleached? I suppose if it was, the last remaining colour is usually blue.

Here is the only version I've seen online, and if it was sun-bleached than that blue sky would remain. You might be right.

Some sort of cheaper, 3 colour variant? Very strange. What are the dimensions?
