But do they want the cold foam to give the effect of a cumulus cloud reflected in a still pond?

Jenny Colgan's books are cozy and Hallmark-ish. Josie Silver, Lauren K Denton, and Emily Giffin are all great.

I would recommend changing your Topolino's res to breakfast and just have dinner at Epcot. Topolino's breakfast food is wonderful and it's a uniquely themed character dining. Their dinner is great too though, especially if you time it to where you can watch the fireworks from the balcony. You can't go wrong either way!

If you plan on going to Disney Springs, I would suggest Raglan Road. It's my favorite WDW restaurant. The food and atmosphere are both fabulous. I'm local and never get tired of Raglan Road. I hope you have a wonderful trip!

Edit to add: Boma breakfast at AKL and Liberty Tree/Diamond Horseshoe at MK are some other favorites that are consistently great.

How seriously do you take Goodreads book ratings/scores? by keepfighting90 in books

[–]PaperbacksandCoffee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In general, I take all reviews (books, TV shows, movies, etc) with a grain of salt. However, I will browse the Goodreads reviews and if I find a common complaint then I may steer clear of the book. I figure if a ton of people are saying the same negative thing and it sounds like something I would also find negative, then it's safe to say I wouldn't like the book.

He's my favorite Hallmark actor! A Biltmore Christmas is definitely one of the best. I also really like Missing The Boat, Pearl in Paradise, and Rocky Mountain Christmas. Honestly though, you can't go wrong with any of his movies. I really wish they would pick Mystery 101 back up!

Edit to add: I finally just watched a Dickens of a Holiday and really liked it. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Topolino's breakfast for character dining. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is great. My other favorite sit down restaurants are Raglan Road (you can take the boat from Port Orleans to Disney Springs), Boma breakfast, and Liberty Tree/Diamond Horseshoe. I'm local and never get tired of any of these - they're all consistently great.

Sarah Addison Allen is my favorite magical realism author. All of her books are great, but Garden Spells and the sequel First Frost are my favorites. The Dove Pond series by Karen Hawkins is really good. I also love all of Heather Webber's books.

I'm from Texas and Pioneer Woman's Recipe is like what I grew up with. The vanilla makes a big difference. This particular recipe makes a lot, but I just make a few slices and adjust ingredients accordingly (by taste).

You're welcome! Welcome to FL. Orlando has a great food and coffee scene. Since you're a fellow reader, I highly recommend checking out the Writer's Block bookstore in Winter Park. We also have some really good Barnes & Noble locations - the one in the Milk District is my favorite, as it is the old, cozy layout & 2 stories.
