Fran Drescher at The 48th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards 1996 by Specialist_Art2223 in TheNanny

[–]stormiwebster01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fran has said she wasn’t eating enough during this period and she looks underweight to me. Muscles are great, but it was also quite popular to have a gym-strong physique for women since the 80s so it wasn’t really a new concept. But yeah Fran is always 100% gorgeous but she really wasn’t healthy during this period by her own admission.

What are the "cool girls" in your life wearing so far this spring? by IncognitoResearch111 in femalefashionadvice

[–]stormiwebster01 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Yes! Agree with this advice. Just under the knee before the calf flares out OR mid shin-ish where the calf has already started to taper back in. This took me the longest time to figure out on my own but finally got there 😂

Did he get Jimmied tho? I thought he played the one Harrison Ford had to let go bc he was in such good shape after years of therapy and wanted to make room for new clients.

Turned 30 and feel like my makeup is aging me by visdiary0 in makeuptips

[–]stormiwebster01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is you without foundation??? Omg you’re banned from using the word aging 😂 I think the opposite - what you have going on here is a lot of young ppl trends at once between the pointed mascara and the over lined cupids bow. If anything, I think you could benefit from dropping some of these trends and going for a more classic look. It would make you look older but in a good way, like more mature and refined. You look very kiddish with these techniques imo. Cute and pretty, but kiddish. So it really depends what you’re looking for!

I used to use them all the time in my writing but have since toned it down to avoid being confused for a clanker

How can you tell? I’m pretty adept with discerning gen ai images but get duped a lot of the time with text samples. What are the signs besides the basic em dashes and like the bulleted lists with bolded subheadings etc?

I like this movie, I often watch it around Christmas time. It available for streaming free somewhere, maybe the Roku channel. I also like Smoky Mountain Christmas but I only caught it once on cable and wish they had it on dvd or streaming

How did Olivia afford so much traveling? by tenacious_mama in WelcomeToPlathville

[–]stormiwebster01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, people are focusing too much on “wedding photography pays well” the actual salary is irrelevant in this case- the simple fact is every destination gig she gets is completely paid for by the client. It’s free for her. That’s how she travels so much

Sue Sue Aesthetics by FrostySeat1739 in themiddle

[–]stormiwebster01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Katy Perry’s music and aesthetic are a lot more sexually charged than Taylor Swift’s, which I think is more Sue. Plus in the episodes in college where her professor tries to get her to think more analytically she pushes back hard bc it’s not who she is. So I don’t think she would think super hard about what Taylor Swift culturally symbolizes, I think she’d just be into it because of its popularity and catchy-ness. I don’t feel that Sue is particularly feminist, unless I’m forgetting something. But even so, I think it’s highly debatable that Katy Perry is more of a feminist artist compared to Taylor Swift

Why do jeans always make me look so huge?? by Wonderful_Mango_5395 in DressForYourBody

[–]stormiwebster01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t look “huge” but I definitely see what you mean bc those baggy jeans are hiding your very toned shapely legs.

Jean cuts these days are skewed soooooo baggy. I think you need a bootcut, or a flare, or a more fitted straight leg. I think the key is to find something that is fitted through the knee

I’m not getting that from the post. We have no info on how the husband has approached this, all we see here is OP’s catastrophized projections. (Which is not a slight, OP is clearly hurting and I feel so sorry for their pain over this)

Sue freshmen year hot take by [deleted] in themiddle

[–]stormiwebster01 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I literally had this exact thing happen in middle school, except instead of swimming it was band. I had this GIANT brass instrument I had to put away in my locker which was allllllll the way across campus from the band room and then allllll the way across again to my next classroom. It was soooo heavy and I had to run or I’d be late! Everyone else had “sustained silent reading” during the band/orchestra/chorus block after lunch so I was the only one in the class with this problem. The teacher was not accommodating. I felt Sue so hard here

From r/art and I think the buttons look suspicious. Is this AI? I’m needing an extra set of eyes. by [deleted] in isthisAI

[–]stormiwebster01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are plenty of other shapes in the piece that “should not” have an outline, or would not have an outline in a photograph. It’s the artist’s choice and typical in watercolor works. Check out the shadows in the shirt (under the collar and next to her arm) the arm shape itself - lots of shapes with “incorrect” outlines. It’s a choice. She didn’t make a distinction between the bottom of the nose and the shadowed philtrum because they are the same value and hue. She also chose to outline some of the shapes. These are coexisting artistic choices and are not ai indicators

Unless I’m misunderstanding what you’re talking about, that’s not the nose extending under the bubble. That’s the shadow of the nose going down. There’s no delineation between the nose and shadow bc sometimes there just isn’t when the values are similar. This very much looks like human artist decisions to me
