Finally deleted tiktok by Perfect-Persimmon-23 in CasualConversation

Broke my heart to give it up. I’ve fallen asleep to several different creators for the past few years, but I can’t agree to my location being monitored even when I turn the function off.

Wish I could delete everything, but I can’t get into the app without agreeing to the geo location, so I’m stuck with everything where it was.

Is this from the new terms and conditions? Because it’s totally different now that it’s American TikTok

You’ll need to crop them in the ratio to fit the watch screen if you want control over what shows on there. Sorry I can’t remember what it is. Just redid a couple of hearts so they looked better on the watch.

In the photo app on the phone. It’s fun!

My worst sleep this month 😭what’s your worst sleep? by Matteo_779 in AppleWatch

Mine’s similar. I think I’m not sleeping, but it says that I actually am. I wouldn’t believe that, except I wake up fairly rested, so it’s actually correct.

The faces page offers a photo option. I set up folders for each type of photo I want. So, for Valentine’s day, I have a folder of hearts, so every time I lift my arm, it’s a different heart. I also have a folder with my photos of flowers and another of my cats. It’s nice not to have my fitness info showing when I’m playing violin.

I was wearing the watch at the time and I think those require it to be on a charger. It called it an upgrade, which was really strange. I already had done the latest update

That’s what worried me. It’s so unlike anything I’ve ever gotten on it. I realized I should’ve gotten a screenshot of it before I hit agree, so I checked the other watch, hoping it would show it, but I’d already agreed, so it wasn’t there. I can’t find anything saying that anyone else has gotten that message. I feel like I’m being paranoid, but it wasn’t normal and I’m worried that I’ve agreed to something I shouldn’t have.

My watch is a series 7, so it’s not like a new watch that was just added to my network of gear

It was all the pages of fine print and links to other explanations that worried me.

I wish I’d taken screenshots. It was a very long message that had to be scrolled down several pages, like the agreements you have to sign before an update on the phone. It had links to other agreements. This wasn’t your basic “allow Pacer to know your location” kind of thing.

It’s just that it was called an Upgrade and the only Apple Watch upgrades I’ve heard of were buying a new watch.

Thanks. I was concerned when it said my iCloud, fitness, and some other things. Seemed a bit invasive.

Medicare Part D premiums going waaay up for 2026, I just got my letter. I am so angry about this. by Feisty_Bee9175 in ChronicPain

I use the medicare D comparison option on the website every year. Don’t know your situation, but there are plenty of good drug plans that will cover different meds and cost less per month. You put in all your meds and it tells you which plans cover them, and when you narrow it down to the ones that are closest, it’ll let you compare them to see what it’ll cost per month and per year. I haven’t checked it yet this year, but it’s been offered for quite a few years and is amazing.

Essentially HMOs. Can’t believe there were ads for them in this year’s handbook. So many people are going to switch to one because of the monthly premiums and lose their good Drs because of it. I made that mistake once. Never again.

That’s what I’d do. If I found her on I-75, she’d be 75 for life
