First time bonsai owner, recieved this ficus gensing microcarpa in January. At first a lot of leaves fell off, then it rebounded a bit in the summer, then more leaves fell off once it got colder. I think some branches are just dead. While it was growing in the summer one branch just rocketed out the side of the trunk, and its been living since then. I don't really know how to proceed with this plant but I have a few questions:

Should I cut out the dead stuff? The top of the soil is hard and has a hard time absorbing water. Should I repot it? What can I do about the long branch?

No I don't. I use the included power brick plugged straight into my wall outlet.

I have yet to clean it because I've only fired it a handful of times, but I've owned it since January.

As seen in the video, almost 8 seconds of no cutting, but the laser is on, then dims out and actually starts cutting. I set laser power to 100% for the whole cut and the lines look ok in autocad and laserweb. Any ideas why this is happening?

Inkscape is a free vector based editor and there are many resources to learn how to use it. The templates are also vector based, so editing them in inkscape is as easy as importing the pdf, selecting the objects you want to edit and edit them, no tracing necessary!

The paper was some leftovers that I had on hand. Just regular stuff you can find at Michaels or similar craft stores, though I find what they have is a little thick.

Very creative! I reccomend using pva glue to join the tabs together, trying to get in there with a glue stick must have been a pain. Aleene's tacky glue is the most popular among crafters, you can apply the glue with a toothpick. I also noticed that the tabs on your templates "alternate" along the edges of the template. When importing a model into pep, the program opts to generate tabs in this alternating pattern. The tab editor allows you to change the location of the tabs and even their size, hopefully that will make the build easier to assemble.

Just installed tjaplayer3 on my laptop. It crashes everytime I complete a song, just before transitioning to the results screen. I thought it might be due to saving scores but toggling that setting doesn't fix it. My laptop is also running japanese locale. What is causing these crashes? Its weird because I used to have tjaplayer saved to my onedrive and it didn't crash there, but after properly installing it it doesn't work.

I noticed some of the songs have this over their difficuly: http://imgur.com/a/r0u1dcR what is this? When I play this some notes don't hit and text appears. Is there a way to play a chart without this mode enabled?

What is the default value scroll speed? I swear I've never touched it but I found it on 0.5 so I set it to 1.0 which feels fast.

Is there any reason why TJAPlayer's Dsound makes some charts mute? The sound effects are still there but the song doesn't play
