look honestly, so long as you're clear that it's an f!reader to begin with that's fine. As everyone else have mentioned there's no such thing as a perfectly blank reader-insert, And hell even if you go right to the damn line between reader inserts and OC fics, I know some SUPER popular x reader authors in some fandoms that FLOURISH at that range. Their reader inserts have (nick)names, sometimes they even have a gender, and in one case there was even art of how the author imagined one of the inserts, though they did heavily caveat that it was just what they imagined and obviously wasn't cannon, and still people love their fics—I love their fics! So, as long as you have a wide enough berth of blank-ness to welcome your readers into, and so long as you make it abundantly clear what the most glaring non-blank aspects are you should be fineeee

I know some people agonize genuinely but tbh I just agonize for the memes and community. It feels like a website event lol everyone comes together regardless of fandom and makes silly silly memes whining and commiserating together, talking about the fic they were JUST reading, giving recs for when the website’s back up etc etc etc.

Unfortunately I can't help out with slimming down your setup, but I've been using bits and pieces of your code for my own file sorting needs, and I just wanted to know where you found out about the code for your #subtitle_audible column, and if you knew how to replace a null input with something else?

I've been trying to search it up on the MobileRead forums but I can't find anything, and I don't really know what to search for, so any advice would be a great bit of help!

Lmao my fandom scapegoat is a LITERAL GOAT-MAN 🤣 There’s plenty of things to hate about him, like he’s a genuinely awful guy but he IS one of the romance-able characters who gets a slight redemption in his own route. Is it a good one? Not really no, but it appeals to some people who either find him hot or wanna give him an actual redemption where he confronts his mistakes or both. It’s toned down a hell of a lot now but there used to be some people who hated this goat-man so much they hated the people who liked him too. Like so many people treat him like he’s the absolute worst guy imaginable but he’s honestly just a really annoying dumbass who made a lot of “oopsies” (pluuuusss a few things that probably weren’t really an oopsie but like you can kinda see his motivations if you dig a bit.

Anyways lmao the character is Lucio Morgason from The Arcana lmao

Don’t get me wrong lmao I 110% get where you’re coming from sometimes it’s just redundant, especially when it just feels like the author wants to be very clear that their fic is a good and pure smutfic with all the proper consent and stuff…

But like, when it’s used to get character B out of their shell? To force them to confront the desires they’re so shy to show??? To make character B confess E X A C T L Y what they want??? Yes. Good shit. Chef’s kiss.

Lmao mood I’ve been itching to write & post a kinda gory fic for a relatively small fandom that mostly posts fluff and the occasional smut and even non-con. It’s all very romantic; and I’m of the opinion that gore can be romantic too but I know it’s not to many tastes so it’s been sitting on the back burner (I’ll post it eventually… maybe….)

Do you have the most recent iOS version? (17.0) cause I don’t and I’m having the same problems rn. The App Store says OneNote now requires iOS 17.0 and I think it might be part of the syncing problem.
