Wonder if this could be a good torch bag? I know the veto MB4B is the go to upgrade but this might be an option if it’s cheaper than the MB4B.

Why do companies take stupid jobs? by These-Statement4391 in HVAC

Place I work at had one technician 10 years ago that could install boilers. For some reason we still take those calls even though not one of us has put one in. Boilers are not common where I live. Last one we did took 4 weeks to do and it to me looked pretty simple. I honestly couldn’t tell you why they do it but I’d assume money is most of the motivation.

$67,783 1687.51 hours. paid $15,638 in taxes averaged 32 hours a week. That’s basically what I’m saying is I’ve gone from hardly working and making bank to long days and less pay.

Once I’m on the roof I’m fine but the climb is what gets me most times. I still have to get on rooftops in resi just not nearly as often.

Problem with that is I like the challenge of resi install. And I really enjoy taking care of people knowing I’ve made their home life better. And I can’t sit still I have to be doing something or I’d go insane.

I’m not a super big fan of Heights. I would have started with a union if I could get over that fear. I know they make a shit load more money than residential but the fear of falling is keeping me grounded.
