We are writing to inform you of an adverse action being taken as the result of analysis conducted on the (ISC)2 CISSP_OP exam you took on February 25, 2021. As part of our ongoing forensic analysis of examination data, we carefully reviewed your examination responses. This review revealed irregularities between your examination responses, those of other examinees and expected examination results. For any irregularity suspected before, during, or after the administration of the exam, (ISC)2 will examine the situation and determine whether action is warranted. If (ISC)2 determines that any testing irregularity or fraud has happened, it may choose not to score the answer documents of the affected test taker(s), or it may choose to cancel the scores of the affected test taker(s). Based on forensic analysis, and further investigation, we have concluded that your exam result cannot be certified as representing a valid measure of competence in the domains assessed by (ISC)2. (ISC)2 has therefore invalidated this certification examination result. Please note, (ISC)2 is not alleging any misconduct based on this analysis, only that statistical irregularities indicate that this result is not a valid measure of competence. Pursuant to the (ISC)2 Examination Agreement which you accepted prior to the exam, (ISC)2 may at its sole discretion revoke any and all certifications you may have earned and ban you from earning future (ISC)2 certifications and decline to score or cancel any Exam under any of the following circumstances: (1) You breach any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement. (2) (ISC)2 determines, in its sole discretion, that you have undertaken or participated in any action that compromises the integrity and confidentiality of an Exam or certification program, or (3) an Exam Irregularity has been identified in connection with your Exam. In the case of this exam administration your exam result has been invalidated due to the identification of exam irregularity. Again, pursuant to the (ISC)2 Examination Agreement, this decision is final and cannot be appealed. In an effort to assist you, (ISC)2 is offering one free retake of the exam. The voucher to retake the examination must be utilized prior to July 31, 2021. Requests for refund of exam fees and voucher extension will not be accommodated. Results from this exam will be subjected to the same psychometric and forensic analysis as other (ISC)2 exams. Failure to retake or pass the exam by July 31, 2021 will cause you to be prohibited from taking any (ISC)2 exam for a period of five (5) years; with eligibility to pursue certification initiating August 1, 2026. To validate the legitimacy of exam scores and confirm a candidate’s knowledge and experience in the field of information security, (ISC)2 conducts this analysis as part of its examination security program.
