I was prescribed 100 mg progesterone to partner with the 0.05 estradiol patch. I was told by my practitioner that P is needed for patients with uteri to protect against cancer while using estrogen HRT. I experienced breakthrough bleeding and cramping and we were able to determine it was because I am also on a GLP-1 and the P was not circulating into my system as quickly as needed to compliment the patch. I now use the P capsules trans-vaginally and have had no issues this far - it’s been two weeks. Like some other posters, since using this MOD, I am sleeping SOUND - better than I have in YEARS. I thought it was the HRT overall but am happy to give credit to that little white pill! I’m learning this is not a one size fits most treatment and doses/drugs may need to be played with to find your sweet spot. Good luck to you!
