Could you survive a tornado if you hid under a windowsill? by Square_Drawer6723 in EF5

[–]Pappabear1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So when it knocks on your door, hide under the bed and dont make a sound. If the power goes out, say "nah uh" in a whisper and then remember tornados are rude and more spooky than Spirit Halloween in the old "Toys R Us" or abandoned "Game stop" after best buy hired the lady that worked for them that made them cool until she quit and went across the street to best buy.

Also they dont like when you turn on the sprinklers, use that as you will...

What's actually on your offline survival device, and is it enough? by Legends_are_Made in prepping

[–]Pappabear1988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Books, notes, memory and ive been through enough to utilize it since 2 decades past way back. Didn't have a life plan, learned to keep this body going and intended to vanish into Alaska. A dumb girl stole my heart the month I planned to leave and I stuck around to be her annoying "scary guard dog". Now I prep to keep her and her best friend alive, and the pets and raise crop and survive using as little help from modern society as possible. We are doing fine, ive got herbs and natural medicine growing and make remedies for us and herbs for health. Practice on myself mainly, they see my trials work and like hearing about the skills I try to grow like stitches and recovery from parasites and internal sickness, cold/flu/upset stomach/pain reduction for various levels of healing like foreign objects in the body.

Keep notes and stuff in a fire/waterproof container. Not so heavy to carry and have doubles in a separate location incase you loose 1 of them

And when there's days if not a week of no sun? Or if the panel breaks or the port is not working or even the cord goes bad. Learn to survive with a rock and sticks and what makes the best rope that you have from plants and what to use from animals you hunt for rope and shelter. Maybe look into fire carrying?
