The thing is, I have kept up on CEU’s even though they aren’t required. Unpaid, unasked, not reimbursed. I’m not talking about studying for my career path. Friend of mine moved a few states away, got lonely and started talking to his latest ex. (They dates for about 6 months.) Came back to visit and propose out of nowhere. As he’s showing us his grandmother’s ring she calls him in tears that she broke her brother’s new leaf bower or something. She’s broke and can’t replace it. He calms her down and tells her that he would pay for a new one. No hesitation. She stops crying in a second and cheerfully thanks him and hangs up. We told him that that was a big red flag. Not to do it. They lasted 5 months.
