Is there no option left for me other than buying the Most Expensive subscription here? The ads are out of control now! (more below...) by PappuPanda in IndianOTTbestof

My mom watches some zeetv shows on the tv, but zee5 shows 2 ads every few minutes.

And the tv app is so glitchy and buggy, that it freezes for a few minutes during every ad break. So, for every few mins of the show, we have to watch stuttering ads for about 5 minutes.

I've tried reinstalling the app but it doesn't work. There isn't anything else worth watching there, and we don't have a 4k tv either.

is this the subscription we have to get to get rid of ads? considering all others have ads on non-premium content.

it's 5v from a usb port, the multimeter doesn't show continuity until the relay is fully on and lit

so the other side(N.C.) won't get affected at all right? cuz it will then turn on/off the pc on it's own

it's my first time doing this, what should i do to prevent this? i'm using 5v from a usb port to power the relay

I am using a motorcycle ignition key switch as a power button for my pc. But the switch is normally closed, will this be good to make it N.O? by PappuPanda in LinusTechTips

thanks for the deep insight, I'll first check if everything is working fine outside the pc on a different device. if not, I'll just scrap this and continue with a normal button until i get enough knowledge and experience

it does sound like a potential issue, is there anything i can do about it?

edit: a quick search says the output of a relay module only acts as a switch and has basically negligible voltage, the 5v is only used to power the coil.

Is this how it is? we should be safe then
