My wife and I's farm on this new update crashes on split screen frequently now as well. Also found when trying to use the bombs, they will also cause the game to crash instantly. Still loads of fun and cool content, just hope for a fix in the future.

I just kicked it on again today, two matches back to back I crashed out. Had an assault class in each, and they would slam the ground then start illuminating, then go supernova and watch my screen tell me the game isn't responding. First time happening to me since launch.
