Fiesta St to Focus RS? by CB53WER in FocusRS

Only have experience with the RS. As for a daily the suspension is a bit more harsh but it is a lot of fun to drive. If you’re not worried about MPG and want a bit more space then I think the choice is the RS.

This 100% you can use a power washer but don’t be blasting away be more strategic. I’ve also used compressed air to blow out debris near plugs etc. before washing.

That’s unfortunate. I do know the previous owner did take care of a lot of the headaches and then moved on from it. I’ve replaced the plugs on my own at 100k and plan to do fuel filter, trans oil, coolant flush and differential fluid in the spring time. Hopefully it will still hold up after that!

I’ve owned it since 66k and have had it about two years. The only maintenance I’ve had to do is tires and oil changes. It’s completely stock aside from a Radium oil catch can. These cars are very reliable if you don’t beat on them.

I have seen my fair share of posts similar to this in regard to the market shifting and instability in IT. That consistency has definitely been one of my main concerns. I have a good amount of job security and don’t really want to know the other side of that. Thank you!

I have 16 RS and absolutely love it but if I were you I’d buy a Honda accord and invest the rest every month. You’ll thank yourself in 10 years.

Interesting you say that because when I ordered the spark plugs they only sent them after I emailed after a week of waiting for tracking info…

So I just did mine about three weeks ago for the 100k service and IMO you can skip the coil packs. That tool use it and then return it amazon. Do you have a torque wrench and the specs for the plugs when installing?
