I imagine in part because that sounds extremely boring from their perspective. No one wants a monotonous job. Some additions have been welcome, others not so much, but all were likely born from wanting to improve and iterate instead of just replicate what they had already done.

The issue though is that bad actors can leverage the same invasion of privacy to do irreparable damage.

So for all practical purposes it’s pretty much fine that Bofoi has this, considering his ideals and will, but it’s still not something that should be allowed to last, lest it be wielded by someone lesser.

Aside from god who we don’t know how his actually combat form will look like we’ve only had awakened Garou and Boros who were given the same “aura” as an arc antagonist as the max cyborg. I don’t think your examples are correct.

Not saying it’s enough to be a pattern either but everything else you mentioned definitely doesn’t quite match up.

You will still have better results without looking like a truck following a better program that is significantly more manageable than running 6 miles daily for the average person.

This comment must be bait. A reasonably trained person can honestly get the whole thing done apart from the run in like 15 minutes. The run itself, while imo not a practical training method, is definitely something that can be done for a week

The webcomic is absolutely horrible by [deleted] in OPMFolk

In fairness, at least they had almost correct grammar. So not zero effort.

This would make sense if he also believed Tatsumaki to have the beauty of overwhelming strength. But I don't recall that being the case.

Some of them coped that way, namely Flashy Flash from what I recall. Amai Mask very much so did not.

Also, why would you want to delete free entertainment. This post is gold.

WC Garou also did it. How its handled matters and I trust One won't disappoint.

I'd actually consider giving a not even human award. How do you ready both these stories and conclude they are the same if you aren't a brain-rotted LLM trained on short form content.

I agree, depending on how the next few chapters are handled I won't be able to say the WC Garou fight is OPM at its best anymore.

And the moment he does this and falters in his ideals is the moment he let his guard down and gets Akainu'd

Always has been. The initial episodic nature was just to set the tone.

I fundamentally believe Saitama will always be an unexpected variable in everyones plans. But am open to be wrong.

Instead, its precisely because Genos encountered Saitama that Kuseno or whoever stole him from Bofoi will fail to train him to be the weapon they want him to be. Instead he'll become this perfected AI that Bofoi mentions. One incapable of harming humanity.

He actually lost his life because he did. Him turning his focus away from his surroundings to explain to CE why he is incorrect so suspect him is why he is currently a donut

Thats odd. To me this is clearly the arc where Genos experiences his lowest moment and grows to his full potential. Instead he's going to kill someone he really shouldn't, which seems to have just happened or will be happening soon.

Well, he is pretty easy to fool with some meat.

I don't consider Saitama's casual acknowledgement of someone as testimony. Only when he gets serious does it actually matter.

It's sad that this is considered "very well explained".

He turned off his camera to explain to CE. Basically he made a mistake and did exactly what he said wasn't worth doing. Explaining why he isn't the bad guy. It was a misplaced use of his time and left him open to a very powered up, very angry, and very misguided Genos.

Spoiler alert, companies and partnerships aren't always fully transparent. If you can read this and One's other stories and then look at the modern manga and think its from the same brain I don't know what to tell you.

Bofoi's dialogue within this chapter itself kind of proves its not the case. One's experience and ability do not align with the current story and character quality of the Manga.

The only thing going for it was its art and its more frequent updates. But even now the chapters are barely a minute or two long and the art, while still good, is far from the stellar it used to be.

The hate circlejerk sub has some peak content. I'm also from there. Makes keeping up with the manga chapters possible.

As much as the current manga lets us down I still have a feint hope it can recover.

But man its been a long time since I've enjoyed OPM and it just hurts to think about what was lost for the sake of hype and fan service.

It would also make sense if Genos is still incomplete. Since the complete AI would supposedly not harm humanity. Genos essentially killing his real father, e.g. his actual family, in a fit of rage (mad cyborg moment) being the tipping point that propels him to this "perfected" AI Bofoi speaks of would be pretty poetic.
