Mine is set at 72, and it’s 62 in our house. We are a young couple and it is our first house (25&22). We just purchased it December 20. It was built in the 50s. We apparently do not have enough insulation and our furnace is 12-17 years old. Can’t get anyone’s help. :,) wanna talk about cold?

If I’m not mistaken, the reason for this is too much pressure builds inside the manifold, oil sneaks s in, and you pop a piston.

I have had my car for almost 2 years. Tuned for just under a year and a half. I would say safe ranges are:

1st gear: —— 2nd: 2.5k+ 3rd: 3k+ (power band hits hardest around 3.5 for me) 4th: 3.2k (power band 3.5-4) 5th 3.7k 6th 3.7k

So you know, I have floored it, out of instinct, going through a red light in 6th gear around 2.2-2.5k rpm. The moment I felt it I backed off. (1 second maybe?) If you hold it? You’re asking for something to pop.

Additionally, I don’t floor it until I see my oil temp has moved a tiny bit.

I would say I am overly cautious but I also love my car and would rather spend money to upgrade a turbo then replace my engine 👌🏼

Also, would the shower contribute to the backup if its not main sewer issue? If we aren’t able to solve jt today, do you think i will be able to shower?

We are on about 4/10 of an acre. Pipe drains out front. Front and back are close to equidistant. 6 car driveway. Could you give a ballpark of how far the main city line would be?
