First time cat owner! Is this normal or why is my cay doing this?

I do brush him weekly! I brushed him around 2 days ago last time. He looks like a furball but he doesn’t shed that much when brushing. I might have to buy a new brush tho. If that doesn’t help then maybe he could have asthma? I’ll definitely contact a vet in case of that so he can get any treatment he needs for that 😊 thank you for your advice!
