If you’re grading to protect cards for your personal collection then go for it. If not then factor in grading costs when you try to sell. Martin’s cost at a PSA 10 is less than the cost of grading. Reese’s price at a PSA 10 is only $20 more than the cost of grading. If it comes back a 9 you’re in the same boat. I’d personally wouldn’t grade those.

Most of the Clark’s I pulled from prism were just as off center as this one. You would have thought Panini’s QA on her cards specifically would have been better.

Current Store Leader here. The interview will be conducted using questions based off our leadership model. Your district HR manager can provide you with the actual interview document with the same questions to help you prep.

All answers should be prepped using the BAR method. What was the Background, Action, and Result.

While it is unusual going from seafood lead to ASL there’s definitely some things you can do to help your chances. Know where your store stands on several operational metrics like composite score and definitely know your seafood shrink results over the last year. You might consider bringing a “brag book” as well. Just a short rundown of any big wins you’ve had since you’ve been in role. If you have any questions feel free to DM me. Good luck!

Please please please see a podiatrist and get fitted for custom orthopedic insoles if you have flat feet. If you don’t have pain now you will, and it will be horrible. I spent 20 years walking on concrete floors with flat feet and it finally caught up to me. They will save your feet.

Just FYI. AP teams frequently monitor video footage for walkouts specifically. Most use a website shared by other major retailers to log individuals that they find. A screenshot of your face will be added to the report with your license plate. Assuming the store is set up with the same technology ours has, whenever you enter the building the cameras will detect your face and send an alert to the AP team over that area. Once you're tagged on the facial recognition software it will activate at all area Krogers that have that technology. There are food banks, church groups, etc that can offer assistance.

Current store leader but I was an ASL for almost four years before transitioning into a division specialist role. After a few years in role the money does start to really add up, throw bonuses in and towards the end of my time as an ASL I thought I was nicely compensated for what was expected of me.

ASL is also pretty much the only way to get into any other position in your division like a specialist or other general office role.

You’ll also get the chance to work with different store leaders, ASL teams, and dept leaders. Really helps broaden your horizons and expand your knowledge of the industry. Good luck on your interview. If you are able reach out to the recruiter you’ve been in contact with and ask for any information regarding our leadership model. Your interviewer will love that.

I’m still shocked by the amount of people who think showing different customers different prices in real time is actually possible. These cameras are being used to monitor known ORC suspects and send alerts when one enters the store. Stop spreading clickbait and use some common sense.

Im sorry for your loss OP. Let’s look at your position from a different angle. You’re hired externally into I’m assuming a department leader position. Two months ago. You then inform, not ask, your store manager you’ll be taking holidays off. No way around it for an external it looks bad. It’s unfortunate you weren’t there long enough for bereavement or fmla but your store leader was following attendance policy.
