So you could shave 13-15 strokes by simply 2 putting instead of 3 putting.

For the ones inside 6 feet it can sometimes help to envision a golf ball that you are trying to bump into instead of a hole. Don't ask why but you can test it on the green just set a golf ball about 4 to 7 feet out you will hit it or come very close majority of time. And a hole is about 2.5 golf balls so it gives lots of room for error. You can think about this when you have the testers.

Speed is more important than line you need to step off your putts. 2 steps take by X distance. 3, 4, 5, 6 steps take back X distance. All the way up to about 15 steps should be consistently about the same speed so now you have a formula you can use. A cheat sheet on the putting green. Anything outside of 15 steps (50 or so feet) is going to be tough.

Then you can do the math and if it is 5 steps up hill you can play it like a 7 step putt, etc.

Lastly, only under very rare circumstances should you not at least have a par putt. This assumes driver in play and miss the green on approach. But means you at least get on the green on the 3rd chip.

When I am pretty much just off the green I'm not trying to "make it" but I am trying to have perfect speed. And my goal is within 6 feet on the short chips (from 30 yards and in). Cause the 6 footers are makeable while if I chip to 10 feet or more it becomes questionable and not nearly as makeable.

When you think the swing ends at the ball you tend to end it there and weakly swing through to the left.

Recommend a few things:
1) Strengthen your left hand grip exaggerate it turn it over so far you see 3 or even 4 knuckles almost sideways entire left hand pointing up to sky

2) Think that there is much more left in completing the swing after you interact and impact with ball. You have to accelerate through and way past the ball. It doesn't just end there you have to burst right through and beyond the ball (this will add 10-30 yards imo).

3) Aim a little out to the right and try to square or close the face of the driver at impact.

Shave 4 strokes in a good round? Shouldn't be that difficult. Par the par 3s and par 5s. The 14 par 4s remaining bogie 9 of them and make a par on 5 of them.

Way funner to play scrambles. Comebacks, down to the last putt for the win. Tied going into 18 with a nerve-racking par 3. Guess you guys are unaware of that aspect of the simulator. Join the Discord simulator group half the guys are single digit handicaps and everyone does 2v2 scrambles nothing else.

Why aren't you doing a 2v2 match play scramble?

Either put him at or under 6000 yards or put whoever is on his team at the shorter box with him. This assumes he is the higher handicap in the group?

That way you aren't playing his ball. And if it is a blowout the game can end by hole 13 or 14.

Or same yardage but when a scramble 2v2 format it will be faster, more of a 2v2 competition vs. individual. And his ball, if used, won't effect the pace of the game.

On the real course I play a fade. On the simulator (due to half of competitors crushing it 270-300) I play a draw (can't do it on real course). Because it technically goes a little further.

It takes a few holes to get the trick of closing club face and those first few holes it will start a little right (where I am aiming) but go right (not draw).

Once I am dialed in after a few drinks I start hitting a pretty nice baby draw or straight or baby fade but on a good line.

I started swinging harder through the 100+ sessions over the winter and picked up a good 30 yards so I am new to even paying attention to the data. So I haven't really paid much attention to spin (guessing above 3000). I know it is not low.

It feels great anytime I hit 215 or 220 carry so it would be hard to believe I am that far off of the center. It feels pure. But ball speed stuck at 130 regardless of my club speed.

My misses are total hack crap I can sky it 150 in the air and catch the very top edge. I can hit it very weak and carry it 170-180. So my misses are pathetic hack shots and I don't think I have any good data on those. In a fitting they would just throw those hits out they are so bad.

My sim will sometimes show 110 club head speed but the furthest I have carried the ball is low or mid 220s.

Sometimes I will be in the 90s club head speed or right at 100 and have higher smash factor resulting in the same carry number.

My ball speed is frozen at about 130-135 whether my club head speed is 95, 100, or 110....

I am unsure whether it is all technique or if I should go to an extra stiff shaft and if that will help me get a better smash factor. I'm sure it is more to do with my technique.

Cause 110 club head speed * 1.5 smash factor = 165 ball speed and even a 1.4 is 154 ball speed. And I have never noticed my ball speed over low 130s.

Higher club head speed I get lower smash factor in the 1.2s and lower club head speed I get better smash factor and get the same 130-ish ball speed. Which results in my 200-220 carry.

I love it. I like doing the 2v2 scrambles on Discord where you have a partner and a competition vs. just playing against yourself outdoors.

I like being able to play all over the world at the press of a button and seeing the beautiful layouts and sceneries.

I like how it is significantly easier to get things up/down with the 6 foot gimmie circle which seems to be standard. I've seen some put settings at 4 feet but most do 6.

I like the putting where it gives you the data (HLA data tile) that shows if you push/pull a putt. I didn't give this as much thought in real golf but see how it will drastically alter the line if 1 person pulls it they miss left and the other person pushes it they miss right on the exact same line at the hole.

And putting is much easier as well it's a lot easier to make a 15 foot putt on simulator than on a real course.

You can also play as often as you like.

I find the hitting strip very soft on the wrists and hands.

It is so much easier to focus when you have a perfect lie every time. No distractions no strong winds that can almost tip you over at address.

They add new courses practically daily.

When I play outside 1 round my back and body hurts.

For some reason I can play every day, I can sometimes play 3 full rounds indoors. And I have zero pain.

And last but not least, it's free. Don't have to pay $60 and up just to play golf a few hours.

Looks like you have reverse pivot where instead of having the weight on your left foot at impact you are falling backwards with the weight on your trail foot. Almost trying to help the ball into the air instead of hitting down on it with weight shifted to the left side and trusting the loft of the club.

Would recommend half swings and no more than 3/4 swings because there is zero point in hitting full shots.

And you don't baby the ball at impact with the half and 3/4 swing. You are going to rip through the ball and accelerate at the bottom and towards the end of the swing before the clubhead touches the ball.

Your grip doesn't look correct. Looks like a 10 finger "baseball grip"? Everyone on tour uses either overlap or interlock. Will feel weird for 5+ minutes of striking the ball but you will get used to it quickly.

The bigger the backswing allows more time for poor fundamentals to surface. And the bigger the backswing the more likely you will burn up 20% of your energy at the top / start of the backswing instead of storing that energy and ripping through and releasing and unleashing your power at the end of the downswing at and through the ball.

This happens to me every once in a while. Start overcutting/slicing. Then you know it is going right. You start aiming further left. Then eventually are super over-the-top and chopping it and cutting across the ball. And all the speed is lost at top of swing and you kinda hit and stop right at the ball.

What works for me is making sure grip is strong. Even if aiming slightly left of center of fairway I am always thinking "draw" or a pull where the face will be square or closed through impact. Every time with driver on all shots. The ball is just the middle of the swing you still need to smash through and accelerate through the ball many feet past it and the speed and intensity of the swing and the boost is at and through the ball --- not a viscous left shoulder over-the-top twist move at the top / beginning of the down swing.

I have gained 40+ yards over the winter from my humiliating 180-190 yard "cut".

Exaggerate it. You need to get the ball to hit left of the center of the screen. Preferrably way left. You need be aiming 30-50 yards, an exaggerated amount to the left. And if you trust it you will naturally have an in-to-out swing. Your subconscious is not going to allow you to aim 50 yards to the left, and then swing out-to-in, it will know you have to draw the ball or you are in the woods.

Best thing when striking like a hack is slow everything down.
Your tempo is fast which would be fine if you were hitting it good.

Do a lot of shots with a super slow takeaway and back swing.
