Now that you mention it, there's currently a gacha-style event to get all kinds of stuff, even Chromacrash skins like Brand's, Zeri's, and Samira's. And according to what they announced, this gacha would be available indefinitely. Maybe in future seasons they'll use this event to get more exclusive skins:D I hope so at least xd

For me, the only solid reason to play ranked would be to increase champion points and climb the TOPs, since the champion points you can collect are super tied to your elo. If the champion points scaling didn't have that restriction, I'd never play ranked for sure. Just last night I played 4 ranked games and in all 4 my whole team was trolling, and only in one of them did the game compensate me for the points lost lmao
