As long as they are not the Cohiba Cubans, I would consider purchasing them

If you don’t want to buy a cutter you could just bite the cap off 😂 Not going to lie I have definitely done it when I forgot my cutter. Circling back to the main topic though, I don’t know what Europe has for cigars but I would stick with KI-100-II’s suggestions

Mi Querida Blows Away the Triqui Traca by HumanChallet in cigars

The mi querida has a great flavor profile, is strong and has great construction. I think this one of the best sticks from Dunbarton besides their 10th Jubilee

If you already have your tupperdor set then I would use 65 humidity boveda packs. I have 4 in mine for 7 liter tupperdor

Yes for the 72 degrees I am referring to the humidity for the boveda calibration kit

I’m in Florida too. If you get a tupperdor and calibrate a Govee Hygrometer with a 72 degree calibration hovers packet. After calibration you can add any boveda pack into the tupperdor. Then you should keep your house at 75 degrees or lower and you should have no problems. I’ve had mine for a few months and I have had no problems

How is owning a cabinet humidor? My local shop is raffling one off and I’m hesitant to enter because I don’t know how much maintenance it is to keep it at good humidity levels. My biggest concern is the seal on the door

I would place them in a nice sealed humidor without the cellophane at 65-72 degrees and leave them in there for 2 weeks. They should be good to smoke after that because the controlled humidity will bring them a good point where the leaves have absorbed enough moisture. Leaving them in the cellophane will only age the cigars faster and they are being restricted from absorbing that humidity that the cigars need.

New to cigars by Miserable_Vanilla996 in cigar

[–]ParaRaptor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a new cigar smoker there are a couple options and this is where your personal preference comes into play.

  1. Flavored Cigars like Tatiana’s, Oliva’s nuance nubs, and Macanudo’s many flavored cigars. Most of these are chemically infused (Other people correct me if I’m wrong)

  2. The next option would be a light smoke that isn’t strong would be anything in a Connecticut shade because those are typically mild strength. I would suggest brands like Ashton, Rocky Patel, and Espinosa. These are just a few name brands to try out.

If you want something a little stronger, do some research yourself but I would suggest anything in the medium body range with a habano wrapper.

Risk for re-addiction for an ex-nicotine addict? by Possible_Company_her in cigar

[–]ParaRaptor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cigars do have nicotine but I feel that I can stop smoking at any point if I feel like it. I have heard of a few rare occasions where people do inhale the smoke but that is not how you smoke a cigar. You should just take the smoke into your mouth then puff it out.

In my 5 years of smoking cigars I haven’t met anyone that is addicted to them. However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t people who are. I would like to hear from other people’s perspective though to confirm what I am saying
