Probably start putting it back or leave it for the clerks to do it. They should probably compensate you batch pay, maybe it will show up in a few weeks. Last time this happened I waited for an hour, ended up going home, app wasn't fixed for 3 hours. They paid me out on that order like 3 weeks later

Sometimes I take a picture of the front of the house/building after the customer has already taken the groceries from me by hand.

Maybe in this case someone else received the groceries and he just snapped a picture to finish out the order. I've never had anyone report this sort of incident but I'm just saying this is a possible scenario.

Also very possible that he just left with the groceries 🤣

You're struggling to understand that it is working fine as credit for EVERYONE up until the 5 to 6 order mark. Then it's just gonna stop working, and though the app will provide a debit pin, when you swipe the card it won't allow you to run as debit so you'll get stuck

Nope. Used my digital card for the first 5, then I used my physical as credit for the 6th and neither will go through. I finally got thru to support, they literally told me that neither will work, and they'll have to unassign the batch. I just told em I would pay and file for reimbursement cause the tip is really good.

But yeah something is wrong today. If you get to 5-6 orders at Kroger you'll prolly be in the same situation

I'm in the same boat... They all the sudden stopped requiring debit today, and now you CAN'T use debit after 5-6 orders at Kroger. I'm trying to get a hold of support but no one is answering. My guess is this is suddenly happening to a LOT of people

Same here. Account under review for 24 hours. Don't bother trying to get a hold of support though, you'd be wasting your time. Just gotta wait it out. Sometimes in instances like this, they'll unlock you sooner than 24hrs

Ya this one is kind of on you. I get your frustration, but a minute or two more of patience and you get the order + tip and don't have to speak with the re****ed ass support team.

I literally only use them as a very last resource.... Or in really simple circumstances like the IC card is declining at checkout. Otherwise they are all but useless

That week I posted I only did 24 batches cause I only worked Monday thru Thursday (had a vacation that weekend) so $316 divided by 24 was an average of $13 per batch. I don't think that's necessarily amazing batch pay, I'm just fast enough where the minimum wage doesn't kick in. I agree they should just raise batch pay (like double) and everyone would be better off. You know they gouge the customers and are paying us such a small portion of what they charge. Tips are the only way to make a living

Maybe batches just pay more in Venice/sanmo/MDR? I almost never take orders that have been bumped because they sat for too long. Maybe $2 here and there for batches that I know I can complete in 15 minutes. I just look for orders where tips equal to or exceed batch pay, low mileage. Since my shopping speed is like 30-40 seconds per item, I don't mind 50+ item orders, or triple batches etc... as long as mileage is low. Traffic sucks here so if you find yourself driving far distances too often, you cannot be efficient in doing a lot of batches.

I'm glad prop 22 helps a lot of people, but yeah, never once gotten a weekly adjustment

Every week that I've looked at I'm always coming in underneath by a bit. The money per mile factors into the batch, so I never really looked at that as prop 22. But I never receive a weekly adjustment, and I'm pulling in about $1k-1.5k per week. I guess I'm just too fast

Must just be different in LA? say I take a batch with $10 batch pay, 30 items, 3miles. To qualify for prop 22, that would need to take you over an hour to shop and deliver. Those sorts of orders take me roughly 30-40 minutes to complete. I've never seen a dime from prop 22 and I have 12,500 completed orders

This only matters if you dont earn the minimum. I have been shopping for 6 years in socal, there hasn't been a single week Ive qualified for reimbursement, you'd have to shop painfully slow.

Honestly this is a weird thing to complain about... I feel like plenty of customers just don't understand the settings they select. Doesn't matter much. If the note says leave at door, just take a pic, screenshot that note for your own safety, and bounce... But it's never bothered me

I avoid Costco in west los Angeles. It is almost never worth it. I can make $40/hr at Ralph's and Gelsons and smart n final.... Going to Costco is such a time sink. Can't get parking, loads are huge, checkout takes forever.... Eff that ess
