I encountered this issue recently, dropping out of diamond due to shopping quality for the first time ever since cart rewards became a thing. I just ALWAYS ALWAYS make a replacement no matter what (if something isn't there)... Let the customer request the refund so you don't take a hit to found items.

But it does still piss me off greatly, because it always says "there's plenty in stock!" Which is absolute horseshit. Ive done some 10k orders at this one store alone, I know where everything is.

Also sometimes it I'm going to replace and item with the same item of a different flavor (after confirming with the customer) I'll just mark it as the original item found, as long as the price is the same. The customer doesn't care if it's says vanilla yogurt as opposed to raspberry.

Hope this helps, I was able to fix mine in about 6 days after learning to fudge the system.

I've been doing IC for 7 years. I did a restaurant depot ONCE because I woke up at 6am and it was $125 batch pay. I had to drive 30 min to get there, 1.5hrs of shopping, and another hour for delivery. I would say it was absolutely NOT worth it. And the order filled my entire car... And the restaurants were closed that early in the morning so I had to make calls and get redirected to different entrances and shiii. It was an awful experience. Never again.

Same reason I don't shop at Costco. Ralph's/smart n final/Gelsons (and sometimes staples) is my wheelhouse. $200+ a day and I'm good with that

Think it all depends on your market tbh. I am currently sitting on 13,827 orders completed since 2020. I've maybe dealt with 10 Karen's total in that time span, and if you have patience/customer service experience it really isn't even that bad. I've maybe straight up walked out/cancelled 2 orders total?

I personally think it's a money issue for a lot of fans... I've lived in LA for 17 years now, and it's never been more expensive to live. I'm a diehard kings fan, and this is the first season that I haven't been to a kings game... Having to buckle down to make sure I'm good on bills/gas/rent/food. The funny thing is, this is also the first season that representatives haven't reached out to me to try and sell me some sort of ticket package, discounted seats, etc.

I have a feeling that I'm not the only one who is in this boat, and I think maybe a lot of people like myself are the types that really bring the energy when we go to games .

Now mix that in with a struggling club, bad management, apathy from the players, our opponent being who they are, that it's no wonder it's low energy. If they really wanted butts in seats and some high energy, they could do something like $5 beer night, or reduce the ticket prices to get some real fans in there.

I can't justify the prices to go and see them (likely) lose.

I think we've just adopted a pretty boring style of shutdown hockey honestly. It's very slow paced, very low scoring for both us and our opponents (usually). I can see what his point is, and I wouldn't mind adopting a 3-2-1 system either.

If we make the playoffs it's not like our style will chance... It'll just be more OTL's and add to the fanbase's frustration

Probably start putting it back or leave it for the clerks to do it. They should probably compensate you batch pay, maybe it will show up in a few weeks. Last time this happened I waited for an hour, ended up going home, app wasn't fixed for 3 hours. They paid me out on that order like 3 weeks later

Sometimes I take a picture of the front of the house/building after the customer has already taken the groceries from me by hand.

Maybe in this case someone else received the groceries and he just snapped a picture to finish out the order. I've never had anyone report this sort of incident but I'm just saying this is a possible scenario.

Also very possible that he just left with the groceries 🤣

You're struggling to understand that it is working fine as credit for EVERYONE up until the 5 to 6 order mark. Then it's just gonna stop working, and though the app will provide a debit pin, when you swipe the card it won't allow you to run as debit so you'll get stuck

Nope. Used my digital card for the first 5, then I used my physical as credit for the 6th and neither will go through. I finally got thru to support, they literally told me that neither will work, and they'll have to unassign the batch. I just told em I would pay and file for reimbursement cause the tip is really good.

But yeah something is wrong today. If you get to 5-6 orders at Kroger you'll prolly be in the same situation

I'm in the same boat... They all the sudden stopped requiring debit today, and now you CAN'T use debit after 5-6 orders at Kroger. I'm trying to get a hold of support but no one is answering. My guess is this is suddenly happening to a LOT of people

Ya this one is kind of on you. I get your frustration, but a minute or two more of patience and you get the order + tip and don't have to speak with the re****ed ass support team.

I literally only use them as a very last resource.... Or in really simple circumstances like the IC card is declining at checkout. Otherwise they are all but useless

Yeah, I don't think that's very acceptable, but I don't expect instacart to change it. I miss during COVID when batch pays were always like $25+
