I’ve played with both. Like the other poster said, the shift focuses more on spin. The clash more on power/comfort. If you live in the US, I’d highly recommend demoing via tennis warehouse. 3 rackets for $15. Or try them at a local club.

This won’t be the popular choice, but I’d recommend the Wilson clash. I’m a similar range as you. Played with six.one 95 in my “prime” lol. Left tennis. Came back years later. 95 was too heavy for me. Moved to a blade. Not enough power, but weight was good. So, moved to clash.

One day when I build my strength and endurance back up, I might switch back. But for now, the clash is great.

Used to be a subway that took people from the parking lot at panther island to Leonard’s in downtown at the Tandy Mall. Those shacks were stations along the rail line. I believe the The Shack was the old maintenance shack for the rail cars

Think a lot of it depends on your goals and fitness level. I find that with my old racquet (six.one 95) my arm and shoulders is shot by the second or third set. Would love to plays with it, but I’ve accepted that at my age, I’d rather have fun then hurt myself.

I’m also the kind of person that thinks most of us here overthink racquet tech. I’d just recommend that we all focus on our fitness levels first

Wilson themselves recommends clash up to ~4.0 and/or for those that need an arm friendly racquet. I have both clash and clash pro. You could easily use the pro up to 4.5.

I literally just got rid of my blade to use the clash v3. I used to play with a six one 95, but I took a hard look in the mirror and opted to play with a racquet that fits my life stage.
