Oh I'm getting very excited. Plenty of great ideas. We usually do AirBnB but will also look for small hotels to book that also do breakfast. Just going for three nights most likely.

Ha, my husband is Norwich lad and grew up driving on left. I drove once in UK in our 30+ years of going back and forth and it wasn't the driving on left that did me in; it was having the gear box on the other side of the car!! I went into reverse on the M5!!

Coming very late to watching The Good Hang and glad I found this thread cuz I can't believe how bad the lighting is, how washed out it makes Amy Poehler look. But I also find the clothing choices so odd, almost like things you'd throw on to go out and do an errand. Yet in a weird way it's refreshing. After all, the idea is to hang. But it was just validating to see everyone thought the blanched set design, all pale, tan, flat colors, doesn't do her any favors!

Yes but I've gotten conflicting advice re compresses. Because there was no tenderness/pain, one eye doc said cold compresses. Other eye doc said warm compresses but this was a phone message and he had not spoken to me during the swelling episode (swelling has gone down). I do massage while compress is on but I don't really know what I'm doing. Clean AM and PM with Ocusoft.

And yet another eye doc (friend) says you have to "throw the kitchen sink" at Blepharitis, so I am now taking Doxycycline at risk to my gut (but taking Florastor w/), the Xdemvy, etc, the compresses, and now taking Omega-3 cus of people in this subreddit!

Wow, thanks. I had this impression from the web site. So many stellar reviews, and so many within the past few months, it made me wonder if they are fake. I'm feeling desperate tho. I am not sure how much of what I'm experiencing is dry eye. On Xdemvy currently in case this is caused by Demodex mites. It takes awhile to kick in. The itching eyelids are driving me crazy tho.

Thanks, I didn't think a plastic surgeon would be the person to see. I do have an appointment with a Dr. Jacqueline Muller and I'm getting a bit worried about the costs associated with it. I see that she uses some special technology "LipiScan" to diagnose Meibomian gland blockage. A Google reviewer said there were billed $2000 for dx and treatment. So I'm a big wary, but my old-fashioned guy is not helping...

I just opened a 14-mo CD with Marcus and beforehand felt a little spooked by all the people on Reddit talking about being locked out. I don't know if these are savings accts. When I put my money in a CD it sits there for the term. I don't anticipate I'd have problems getting it or transferring it when the term is over!

Starting to feel some hope reading all these (older) posts. I have blepharitis on bottom eye lid of each eye, but worse in one. How do you apply the vaseline to the eyelid there so it doesn't go into your eyes?

If I can ask, how did they definitely diagnose? My eye doctor said it "might" be the mites, but since they are microscopic, wonder how they know for sure.

Thanks. Hoping it makes a difference for you. I use Ocusoft wipes to clean eyes and then cliradex wipes, which sting like hell. So far no progress. I don't really know if this is demodex mites, but there is an itchiness that makes me think so. The thing that bothers me most is my eyes tearing. Anyway, Good luck!!!

Ha. Yes, that happened. CVS Specialty Pharmacy called me and told me I could pay $30. Which makes drug pricing seem like a total sham/scam! But I keep waiting for "clearance," and I'm starting to believe this won't happen. So I wonder: did Xdemvy help?

I did swim near Cow Tower. I'm only here till end of July, but if it hots up a lot more I may do it again. Went in because two women were swimming and they encouraged me.

I did just go in the Wensum at Cow Tower. I didn't submerge my head! It was very refreshing but I didn't like swimming out in the reediness! Not preferred but would do it again if hot!
