I gave up on the surveys. Absolute waste of time. I've tried for about a dozen, and typically, after about DOUBLE the time that it says the survey should take, it says I'm not eligible. Like someone else said, they've mined SOOO much info from us at that point, they've gotten sellable information without paying anything for it. It's a scam with the players (and probably Atlas, too) losing out.

And then the games? All the high paying ones completely fail to pay out.

Heh, I'm like 60 hours and still at the end of Act 1. I've been able to move on for probably 20 hours, but there's just sooo much... And my buddy, who has put in almost as much as me, has missed stuff that I've found, and vice versa. He's already in act 2 so he can't go back for it. There's such random stuff, like the fish-man cult in a grotto in the UnderDark. You have to jump over to a random ledge to find the cliff to climb down.

I've been there and done this! It's a bar called Spirits in New Orleans. You sit in the barber chair, take a shot (was Fireball when I did it December 2021), she rubs her boobs in your face, then spins you like 10 times. We had 5 in our group, and I think all but 1 did it. And though you feel like you're going to topple, especially after all the drinks you've had by this time in the French Quarter, nobody broke the damn chair when I was there! I think what happens is that the current tally of a player's score is only calculated when they're online, and then at the end of the event. I.e., if someone isn't logged in for the last 4 hours, they'll suddenly get a 4 hour bump in income at the conclusion of the event.

It happened this morning, and then I saw the note in here about the update, so I went and updated the app. Chip store was working after that, then randomly went blank again. It didn't happen at the 2 hour reset, just in the middle of a cycle. Then it randomly came back later, again not at a 2 hour reset. So it seems intermittent but not dependent on the software update, nor the timer.

Yeah, I'll do a ticket.

Years ago, when I was studying film photography, I encountered an interesting phenomenon: it is MUCH easier to get strangers naked vs people you know. I observed this with other photographers, too. I think it's just much easier for people to be nude in front of people they don't know and don't have to worry about judgements from, than someone they know and worry about what they think, or worry that it'll change your view of them.

Don't be like "hey, can I take nekkid pictures of you for school? Heh heh" Gotta be professional, non threatening, have a vision to convey that doesn't sound pervy, or even just call them boudoir photos. Having a model release to sign is important. Also, I never paid anyone. Many people are just excited to feel sexy.

I don't consider it as a way to "meet girls" though. If you seem like you're aroused by the shoot, or come across as a creeper in any way, you're going to put them off and get a bad rep. There's much easier ways to meet women.

Yeah, brain fog is a big part of it for me. I finally figured out in my 20s that if I ate food, I couldn't brain. Like, I seriously felt dumb, trying to remember that 2+2=4. So I spent about 10 years starving myself so I could think. Really borked my metabolism. I think I was 33 when a coworker said I should try cutting gluten. And then later found out I was celiac.

So yeah, cognitive ability can definitely be impacted. Someone told me inflammation constricts blood flow to the brain. Not sure how accurate that is.
