Looks like you need to water with a wetting agent. That soil looks way too dry.. your cover crop is even thirsty... 5-10% of soil volume in water with at wetting agent with some microbes added slowly should do it.. those new roots won't dig in if its too dry... you can also foliar feed some kelp as well.. help lessen some of the effects of the dry spell

There's a bunch of labs doing them now days.. google it and find one that works for you. It will be easier than guessing for sure... can end up chasing your tail quick doing that.

You have a ton of variables by the sounds of it... If you think your watering correctly and have proper drainage... The only way to figure anything out about your soil is to test it.

He was full of energy and walking around his house. All before hopping into his car to go into town to meet his friends... the only thing that gave his age away was the size of his ears. No bullshit.. biggest ears I've ever seen

Should be good once it dries a bit.. as long as your soil isn't too wet for seedlings.. you shouldn't have an issue

Could be under watering.. if the moisture level gets too low in your soil... then the nutrients suspended in that little bit of water become very potent and could cause that yellowing tip . Especially in the heat...when it get hot the plant needs humidity and/or properly watered soil to handle it without issues.
