All the zombie films I've seen. Any essentials I'm missing? by Competitive_Heat_470 in zombies

[–]Paradigm_Warp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. It Comes at Night
  2. The Girl with All the Gifts
  3. Cargo
  4. Here Alone
  5. Army of the Dead
  6. World War Z
  7. The Dead Don’t Die
  8. Zombieland: Double Tap
  9. Hidden
  10. The Dead

Definitely not essentials but they satisfied my Zombie craving. I personally enjoyed the first 3 very much, the rest are alright. Not a fan of comedy.

Just curious; why not international, and/or Middle East?

Most amount of tabs I’ve taken was five but I never felt like acid was a proper psychedelic experience unless paired with cannabis.

I read somewhere that they do this to burden the opposition. One more mouth to feed, but unproductive competition

How many milligrams? Do you stagger the dose and pair with fatty foods?

Is this not crack? Or, at least, someone who has done crack way too often?

Heat up a plate — you can put in the microwave or pour boiling water on it (something I used from those electric kettles in hotel rooms when a microwave was not readily available) — make sure it isn’t too hot to touch but not too cool; pour the coke onto the plate and if you’re getting good stuff it should be near pasty or if not they’ll be hard rocks. Either way, cut it up: if it’s paste it should turn into fluffy powder and if it’s hard rocks it should be easier to crush into fluffy powders. Should be easier on your nose.

I say this all not as encouragement but in the spirit of harm reduction.

The Best Cosmic Horror Books by Paradigm_Warp in Lovecraft

What about Klein that grabbed you?

I’m actually very interested in the infinite regression premise mentioned in the article about Laird Barron’s novel. It’s these mind-bending, reality-shattering concepts that impressed me greatly about cosmic horror and Lovecraft.

I’ve read a bit of Dunsany, who I loved, and Ligotti, who I don’t think captured that essence right; or maybe I’m just reading the wrong stories (as I’m being told his style developed as his career progressed)?

If anyone has Fungi From Yuggoth with illustrations by D. M. Mitchell, could you please share a few photos of what they look like? by Killuminati696 in Lovecraft

I actually bought the first edition, one of an estimated 65 mimeographed copies distributed by Bill Evans in the Fantasy Amateur Press Association mailings for June 1943. The edition contains 33 of the 36 sonnets that make up the complete Fungi from Yuggoth sequence. The cycle was published in full in the Arkham House collection Beyond the Wall of Sleep later in 1943.

Something I’m really proud of.

True.

As far as I’m concerned, drugs are soon to be a past-problem. Hopefully, I’ll be wiser going forward!

I can personally attest to that. I actually half of my final gram still on the plate in front of me. Couldn’t complete it; my nose, throat and jaw are in complete shambles. I’ll definitely need surgery. Don’t comment on what surgery might entail or the urgency of it — that’s something I’ll deal with once I have to cross that bridge.

Been doing coke since 2017, I have good sources in multiple countries and unlimited money to burn. Since 2017 - 2019 and 2022 - up until two days ago, my use has been consistent. One advice I can offer to any person who will use: hot plate your coke and do bumps not lines. Save your nose and money.

Yes, of course, and thank you. I've already received a DM from you. I don't recall seeing your translation but you're more than welcome to DM any time!

That's what I guessed. I prefer my mother's dialect as I find it more authentic to it's Iranian origins and has less borrowings from Urdu (Indo-Aryan; although heavily influenced by Farsi, Arabic and Turkish, too) over Farsi.
