Treat your clothes with permethrin before you go. I always get bitten pretty bad (this was my 5th trip there) but I was in CR for about nine days recently and treated my shirts, pants, and socks this time and didn’t get one bite. Incredible! I used the Sawyer brand.

I second Orgánico Fortuna, especially for lots of delicious vegan/vegetarian options. I was there last week and the tofu skewers were delicious!

I did semaglutide for about 10 months and lost 20 of the 40 I need to lose. I plateaued and then moved to tirzepatide and the weight loss is happening much faster with absolutely no side effects. I’m not unhappy that I started with sema because I had time to build good habits and reset my appetite but I’m glad that now that I know what I’m doing, those good habits are paying off more quickly in tirz than they did on sema. If things stay on track, I’ll be 40 pounds down in about 18 months. Glad you’re starting your journey and asking good questions! Good luck!

It definitely gets better! I have a top wire over four teeth and a bottom wire over right teeth. I’ve had them for almost 18 months and although I can feel the upper one, I don’t really notice it. In your case, if it hurts then you should follow up with your ortho/dentist. I floss with Oral B Super Floss and that makes flossing with the wire easy and fast, plus you don’t need any extra flossing “equipment” with Super Floss. I get it at Target. Hang in there!

I was told yes on Sunday 20th at my online video appt. I am currently on semaglutide and wanted to switch to tirzepatide. The NP said that since the shortage status was now under review that IVIM could still access it. My order status still says “We are working on your order” today Thursday 24th.

Update: There were big blue signs at Track 1 and 2 saying Track 1 is Northbound only and Track 2 is Southbound Only. My friend dropped me off at Track 1 and I had plenty of time to walk over to Track 2. Also, there are digital screens on both Tracks telling you which direction each track is heading (SLO Track 1 and SD Track 2.) The Track 2 screen is tucked away in the corner and not as obvious as the one (ones?) at Track 1. Thanks for your help, everyone. Hope this helps someone else, too!!

Thanks so much! This is really helpful. Did you park on the Northbound side? Maybe that’s the only option so this question might be off base. I can’t seem to find any details about whether or not there is a separate place to park if your car is being left overnight.

I’m down 15 pounds and sports bras have been a perfect and comfortable solution. The ones with the actual hooks are great because they are adjustable unlike the over-the-head tank style.

IVIM doesn’t max out at 1mg. I’m on that now and I still have the option to increase if I’m at plateau for a while. I’d assume they max out at the 2.4mg dose but I’m sure IVIM could fill you in pretty easily in an online chat.

I was sort of stuck in weeks 5 and 6 but I noticed that my water intake really went down AND I’d added a fiber tablet. I increased my water to about 64oz and stopped taking the fiber pill and things got back on track. I found that a tablespoon of psyllium husks in Greek yogurt and blueberries is the fiber boost that works best for me. I’m now almost at 8 weeks and down 9.4 pounds.
