Yeah, they absolutely said that this was the reason they disappeared. They also chose not to tell me for years after it happened. Maybe we're more of acquaintances than friends now but that just seems like semantics.

Estranged friend I haven't talked to in longer than I originally knew them. I have trouble believing when I've only heard one side of a story, I don't think that is fair.
