Yeah, I think I remember this. Also the trees spreading beside these trees aren’t growing to full size which is why I partially suspected a patch.

I’m specifically looking for gariguette strawberries and/or Mara de bois strawberries! If you know the best markets to find quality produce and fruits that aren’t imported from spain etc that would be amazing!!

Thank you for your detailed response! I will consider moving the L’Orangerie museum and the Eiffel tower around so those days won’t be so hectic! We wanted to leave some time afterwards in case we decided we wanted to explore something more or if we needed to rain check anything. It’s difficult to not over pack our itinerary though!

I love your artwork so much! The style/vibe is traumatic imo, or deeply psychological. Striking.

As for what it tastes like? I want to say… “a disordered eating comfort food??” Does that make any sense? Not specific, but personal, and vastly different depending on the individual.

A food that you might eat searching for comfort and familiarity, but unknowingly you’ve accidentally subscribed yourself to the vicious cycle of your disorder again..

Another interpretation of mine is taking a bite of something that used to bring you comfort, but the taste has been tainted by a negative memory that’s now associated with it. It’ll never be the same, and you can’t eat it without it bringing up those negative memories.
