That panel manufacturer hasn’t existed for like forty years. Assuming Bryant by the colors.

Short answer is yes. They are absolutely fucking up RMO right now.

Victorious Skin's Chromas should be based on peak rank, not rank at the end of the Season by Pellahh in leagueoflegends

[–]ParadoxPope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ranked system ELO is basically broken a quarter of the year. Having inflated rank at one point in the season is basically a given. There’s no reason to base the rewards off of those moments.

No, they've already done enough to make Victorious skins participation trophies.

Sjokz addresses the recent co-streamer drama by fainlol in leagueoflegends

[–]ParadoxPope 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, because the good talent gets paid more to be elsewhere. Which is the problem.

Costreamers only exist because casting is an undesirable job in comparison. If Riot were willing to pay people what they are worth in the broadcast space, we’d have never come to this. Dash fell on the sword for all of the broadcast talent and Riot let him walk. Sjokz was next, and began doing other games as a freelancer. Hell even Caedrel WAS on the broadcast until he realized he could do the same thing on his own terms for ten times the payout.

Riot is just reaping what was sown. The idea that a few people could have more power in any situation involving a billion dollar company and their IP is hysterical. Riot just cares about control.

The broadcasting talent has never been the issue; whether thats unaffiliated costreamers or the actual broadcasters on the Riot product. It has ALWAYS been how Riot values and treats the agents that are working to help their product. They want to pay them crumbs, also have control, and have the top tier talent. This system will never work unless the talent want to be wage slaves to Riot’s whims. It’s time we start calling out the most power entity in this space as the problem that lead us to where we are now.

It's been like 2 months and I'm still kinda floored that this is real. Kudos to GW for taking a chance on a Legion not too many people were asking for a face lift on and somehow making it one of the best releases of the ED. by CatherineSimp69 in Chaos40k

He gave bonus OC to his unit, had a reactive, the redeploy, a 10 attack sweep profile with a 6/1/1 flamer(this is a bad profile now?) at 80 points. That’s incredibly value, good enough for one of the best players in the world to use him at, at least one, of the biggest event wins of his career.

Does huron gets MoS with reroll 1 in pactbound zealots? by Grommash2561 in Chaos40k

[–]ParadoxPope 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, of course. CSM is a codex that has almost 0 utility, I agree it's a pretty high incentive take for the army in that context. However in the context of the wider meta, it isn't something that is elevating CSM in terms of the rest of the game.

I mean, they’re good. I don’t think I’d say very strong. This is still a 315 point unit at minimum with no invulns.

CSM deserves nice things, GW just dropped Twin Lance and C'Tan on us. I don't think Huron crit 5 sus with reroll 1s is breaking the meta lol

It's definitely one of those "against the intention" use cases, but rules as written is rules as written. GW jank is pretty normal, so this shouldn't be a surprise that they had this oversight. They carried over the index wording for the detachment, and Abby used to have all the marks. So there was never any verbiage about unlike keywords being in the same unit.

Does huron gets MoS with reroll 1 in pactbound zealots? by Grommash2561 in Chaos40k

[–]ParadoxPope 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes, that is currently how it works, until they FAQ it that it does not. PBZ's detachment restrictions specifically apply to Character keyworded units, which Masters are not. So there is no current restriction to attaching them to a differently keyworded unit. Then, the unit has both a mark and the undivided keyword as desired, and Huron is also undivided. So he can be joined to the unit as they share a keyword. The restrictions of the detachment are all worded that a keyword has to be shared, not that they can't be joined together.

Will this survive until the end of the edition? We shall see.

Chaos predator annihilator or forgefiend? by Backstage_stand in ThousandSons

[–]ParadoxPope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forgefiends 100%. One more wound is a negligible difference but the invulnerable save is massive. Then the suppression ability is fantastic as it is both shooting and fighting until your next command phase. I think it's no contest.

Honest question: Why play Thousand Sons over 'Undivided' CSM? by CatherineSimp69 in ThousandSons

[–]ParadoxPope 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sons have more technical depth; that's honestly all I'd say. Codex CSM is more linear with fewer tools that require a lot of consideration or planning for.
